If Jada can keep this up with the entire Street Fighter line as well as other IP, they will be a real major disruptor in the action figure market.

Hey Jonathan, just FYI, his belt and gi can unbutton. Also, the main reason for the little window on top is that it let's light in. It actually dioes make a difference, especially at retail.

That window at the top is for LED light to flood the packaging, so it entices collectors to buy the figure. But most of these figures are being pre-ordered and aren't even hanging on the toy aisle hooks.

I can only assume that Jada is sacrificing margin for market share. This line, so far, is very impressive and buying a lot of instant goodwill especially since alternative SF lines are so pricey. Also, I think Jada intentionally kept the scale perfect with Marvel Legends (and thereby Classified, Valaverse, Mythic, Mezco, etc.) so 1/12 types and nostalgia hounds would easily justify buying a Ryu or Chun-Li to fit in with their Wolverine, Baroness, etc. Can't wait to see how Jada's Mega Man line turns out. Lastly, keep your wife's name out my mouth

Lol! Yeah, I really can’t wait for the Mega Man stuff. You really could be right about sacrificing margin and I’m here for it. Well, until they double the price halfway through the line. 😂

This opens up the gates for other characters from Street Fighter as well as the most recen game. The new Ryu in SF6 looks phenomenal and so are the rest of the World Warriors and New Challengers, perfect for eventual figures. The day Chun-Li and Cammy will be announced and put on shelves, it's gonna be extra popular!

I love these Jada toys figures. There's one complaint i have. That's the second heads. It would be awesome if the second heads were battle damaged. A little blood a black eye or both. The one i can't wait to be released is Cammy.

Stoked to see you get these! I found Fei Long at my local target and swooped him up cuz he was my favorite to use as a kid. I hadn’t watched any reviews on em and 100% did not expect how great that fig is. Sent me down a rabbit hole to track down Ryu and ended up just ordering him. Can’t wait to get Chun Li when she drops and I plan to keep up with the line from here on out. At $24.99 each I really can’t turn em down.the next wave looks amazing as well. Ken, M. Bison and Dhalsim. Bring em on.

@@NostalgiaUnboxed I’d honestly lose my mind if they got around to doing all 19 on the back of the box. They kinda painted themselves in a corner with their character selection though. They could have done the core 8 and everyone would be more than happy😹 Fei long is a new challenger. Having him in the first wave shows intent to at least try to make the core 8, the 4 bosses and the new challengers. I’m sure Akuma is on the table too. Evil Ryu and Violent Ken are a stretch unless they make em some kinda exclusive. Hopefully this line is super successful and they can see this all through. Really impressed with what they pulled off at that price point and I’m looking forward to see how they handle the odd body types.(Blanka, Honda, Zangief)

I got a Jada Toys Frankenberry figure a while ago and some of the joints were horribly loose. It's fallen off the shelf more times than any other figure in my collection. It really put me off Jada Toys. Eventually I put a tiny bit of tacky putty in the hip joint (the worst offender) and it's been able to stay standing since. Jada Toys seems to have improved joint tightness a lot with this figure though. Has it fallen over at all since you reviewed it?

I HATE Storm's sculpting, too. Every one of their characters is on steroids. Characters who should be more slender are still bulky & bulbous. Even if they cost $25 each, with that sculpting & they're WAY too tall, I'd still pass on them.
