    Great video funny as I just bought one of these last week and this video turned up on my FB time line, agree a great sander, I held off buying one because I have the corded version, I bought because I was sick of the cord and couldn't be bothered getting the cords out to sand a wall of the house, for painting should have bought ages ago, awesome little sander.

    Yeah its a great sander. I've had it a few years now so thought I would do a review on it 👍

    Only downside is the sanders are a lil heavy when you add a 4 h battery. Can you buy the shop vac adapter by itself I don’t have that shop vac just a Ridgid

    Fantastic as always Karl and have to agree, not only an impressive sander, but the ‘no-mess’ whether using the little bag or a shop vac is one of the best they (Ryobi) have managed. It is a bit noisy on its own, to be expected I guess, and even more so with the shop vac running too, but the lack of mess more than makes up for that and with ear protection fitted it is hardly noticeable. Did you manage the full piece with just one sanding disk? Great review, thank you sir... 👍🏻 ✅ 👏🏻

    Cheers pal. How did the move go? All good I hope. Yeah it is a little noisy but not too bad. I did approximately 3.5 like this on 1 disc and 1 battery so I think that's quite good 👍

    @@TheYorkshireMix Ha! Well remembered, we’re finally in and it was all relatively painless! Well, except my garage/workshop is so full of crap I cannot get at, or use any Ryobi space at all, yet... 🤷🏼‍♂️😂🙄 But, it’s great to be in our own place at last, happy (Ryobi) days ahead... 🤪

    Great stuff . Complete sanding Nub here . I'm going to attempt sanding down my staircase ... Do you know if it works with 3M cubitron II ? OR do i need some sort of adapter ?

    If they are 125mm and velcro back they will work however if you are using a dust extractor with the sander it might not collect as much of the dust as the sanding pads with the dust holes in the correct orientation 👍

    @@TheYorkshireMix Yes I'm looking at dust collectors right now ; Hopefully one I can just plug into the sander . Just need to figure out how to get these net-back Discs to stick to the velcro on the Ryobi ...

    I bought Project Source Universal Tool adapter at Lowes. It has 4 different diameters. It looks like a stacked round pyramid and can be cut. Cost about $11. I cut the top section off (1 1/4 diameter). The next section 1 1/2 section fits like a glove in the ryobi orbital sander. Connect the other end of the adapter to your hose.

    Hi, out of interest, I just bought one of these and it dosn't seem to spin/rotate freely and is stiff to move the disk/pad around by hand is this normal?

  • @TheYorkshireMix

  • @TheYorkshireMix

    @TheYorkshireMix

    It's not faulty mate. the vibration is what turns it so it will only spin slowly 👍

    @@TheYorkshireMix thank you for the reply. I still feel its faulty as the sanding plate is tight and barely turns and when it does it travels in the opposite direction to the arrows.
