I love my self propelled mower and never gets dirty ? Deck is always clean after mulching, don’t forget to put plug in . Never Boggs down in wet tall grass . Never go back to gas ever !!!
I got one last spring and love it. Drop in the batteries and mow. No changing oil, pulling a starter rope. The other upside is you can mow at 6 am before it gets hot in the summer, and no one complains.

Just bought one last week. Hope the weight isn't too much for me. I've been using a reel mower for years but have moved and have a much larger yard.

@Rebecca Oliver It's self-propelled with on the fly AWD. It will pull you around the yard with ease.
I just bought one... Returned it two days later. 😄 - low power - clogging - even the biggest batteries (6Ah) don't last long enough
Im currently cross-shopping this with the GreenWorks 80V Pro and the EGO 2156. This is the most detailed review of this mower I’ve seen.

Look at all the other tools you may want by each of the manufacturers and all the costs. I went ryobi and have been very pleased.

@@dougd7410 I ended up going with 60 volt Greenworks and have no regrets either. 👍🏼. I do like Ryobi as well.

@@ajgreen868 I got the EGO 2156, Line IQ string trimmer and 615 CFM blower. I’m very pleased with EGO so far.
I got the 20 inch push model today. I want to put it on a golf cart to transport. Should be good to go.
I like the 20 inch. Got it at a steal price of $300 canadian with 2 5ah batts an 2 chargers.

Nice!
I want get another brand of mower but after seeing ryobi getting better with each new mower they been drawing me back in. First 2 mowers weren't the best and needed get 3 extra batteries but did job done. Last one surpassed my expectations and now these new ones im seeing coming making me want stick with ryobi. t
I have the single blade model and it's also heavy. I think it's the base because it's so bulky along with the batteries and motor. I've used gas powered mowers all my life and this one is heavy. I love mine though because no has no cranking no changing oil it's sweet
i just upgrade to the whisper crosscut, awd, self propell from a 20" non of the mention feature and the most useful feature is self propel. the first thing i notice is the whisper model blows grass everywhere (beside the weight) unlike the 20" model.
I have the same but the battery don’t Last long.the battery last only 15 minutes each. How long your’s battery last
Is runtime life of the motor still 200 hrs? That's hardly 3 seasons of mowing.
I have this one. In my opinion for the huge $$$$$$ it could be by FAR BETTER. It's a damn tank, the bar you push with could be tallER for us tall people. It really bogs down in higher grass.
Anyone used it on steep hills?
The idea of those mowers is nice, but the problem is.The manufacturers will end up screwing you. With battery prices, you can already see it.the batteries are ridiculous.
You indicate in the KZread description that this is the Ryobi RY401150US. The RY401150US is rear wheel drive (not AWD) and is not the Whisper Series. What is the correct model number of the mower you are reviewing? Thanks!

Grassologist...
This is the downfall of Ryobi designing something from scratch to retail in 6 months.
Lol this guy is complaining....about his lawn mower...getting dirty....after mowing. Wow.....

I think he was referring to all the dirt and grass coming out of the nook and cranny spots on the mower. Especially the sliding mulch door. I think maybe when his catch bag got full, there was no where else for the cuttings to go so they were forced to squeeze into other places
