This looks like Ryanair's experiment with one-pilot crew to the extreme 😁
Thank you for making these so in-depth! I’ve been desperate to learn the 737 for a while now but I was struggling to find a good source of learning. But after following this video I can finally say I’ve successfully flown the 737 for the first time. Thanks!

glad to find someone like me! I have learnt the airbus a320 but the 737 was a challenge until these vids!!
Great flight sim I really enjoyed it. LOL, I have a funny feeling you really miss flying B 737s for Ryanair.
I had to do a double take when I saw Luka and thought “there is no way he’s going to try and land a 737 in the Himalayas’ (Lukla)
Today, I was overjoyed to see a new video featuring the Boeing 737. I absolutely loved it! Thank you for sharing such valuable content. 🙏

You didn't purchase priority video.
In every video of you, I have watched so far you’re always starting from a cold and dark flight deck. Is that realistic? 😊
Love when he said no that’s airbus 😂
There's one thing I always wondered, now even more after you have done that Honeycomb unboxing video and shown us that you use the Bravo and do have all the appropriate add-ons for the airframes you fly: Why do you do stuff like setting flaps or disconnecting the AT or AP with your mouse in the VC (at least sometime), when you could do it easier on your hardware? And by the way, you were looking at the wrong end of the runway when you were checking the chart for the Stopway. ;)
The planes in the hangar looks like Soko G-2 Galeb, trainer and light ground-attack aircraft.
Love these real world ops videos- very insightful. Would love if you could explain all the little things you did probably subconsciously that us non-line pilots won't know the reasons for, for example why you set the inital climb limit on the first waypoint of the SID - is that just Ryanair SOP to act as a reminder - and it doesn't mess with the vertical profile since VNAV would only be activated after passing the waypoint?

Hi, I believe I went over most of those details in my tutorial videos, did I not?
I've noticed this on my airplane earlier, but you have this as well. I wander if this is intentional, and why. When you are on the approach, and airplane will catch Localizer and Glide Slope, then APP light on MCP goes out. I thought it stays iluminated, as airplane is in approach mode folowing GS and Loc.
Following Ryr SOPs, lowering the gear at 4nm before the runway followed by the flaps on a precision approach really gives little margin to meet the stabilized approach criteria at 1000ft AAL under IMC. I guess around 200 ft margin at a 3 degrees GS (300ft per mile). This tight procedure could be the reason why the landing checklist is divided into two parts… Or is the policy that under VMC (like in the video approach) the 500ft gate applies? That would take the stress out…. For example, Airbus suggests gear down at around 2000ft AAL for a decelerated approach. So there is some more margin… of course it depends on the company/airline

Under VMC the 500ft gate applies and 4NM is used for the gear. Under IMC 1000ft applies and the gear is extended at 5NM. Airbus does not allow using the 500ft gate, the plane needs to be fully configured when passing 1000ft, only on visual and circling approaches you may align the plane with the runway down to 500ft (but it still needs to be all configured and all other stable approach criteria met by 1000ft).
42:00 I think you meant the RW24
Question about RYR after takeoff checklist. If you are cleared initially to an altitude below the transition alt, let's say you have to maintain 3000ft. Would you call flaps up no lights at 3K, maintain bug up speed, call for the after takeoff checklist where at the last item what would you call out ? Holding at altimeters and when you are cleared to a flight level you call out standard set (alt check from both pilots) and only then you can complete the after takeoff checklist calling out ''altimeters set'' ? And when is VNAV selected in that example? After 3000K flaps up no light or after cleared to climb? Thx!

At the flaps up no lights call I'd select VNAV nontheless, I'd basically do everything as per SOP, except not to set STD. Then do the checklist and hold it at the altimeters. Once cleared to a FL set STD and complete the checklist.
Don’t they turn the elec hydraulic pumps on after connecting the GPU at Ryanair?
Hey (checks notes) A330 driver, the plane in the hanger, despite looking really like a Magister, but missing the V-tail (sigh), is not, but is in fact this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadair_CT-133_Silver_Star (or) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_T-33 Fun Iron Curtain connection, Cuba had a few of these, and used them offensively in Bay of Pigs Invasion.

To do a full cold startup, done right and realistically as possible with just one person (simulating loading via stairs/jetway and baggage loading, getting APU on after ground power and warming air, realistic IRS align, etc.) can be up to 25- 30 min sometimes- for me at least before taxi now that Im more familiar w aircraft. Entering in longer routes in FMC and all init and performance things and setting it up right w weights etc., getting ATC, it definitely can't be done in 5 minutes or so...especially like me on dam Xbox with controller!
may I ask how you can turn those knobs that quick? great video !
