I think it's the otherway round. Foster as popular as he is, is no bigger a billboard than RR could be. Obviously. Wrexham get a good GK to get them promoted and Foster gets exposure in the media.

Very smart business from Wrexham. Getting in genuinely likeable, quality players with big media profiles is sure to help them build their status as a club as they climb through the EFL. Rob McElhenney doesn’t get the credit he deserves either. He’s more passionate about and puts more time into the project than Reynolds. And is a brilliant creative mind, really interesting to see the novel ways they promote the club as the profile grows.

McElhenney is the engine driving everything and 110% into investing and growing the club. He is the proper real driving force. Reynolds provides that bit of extra star dust on top. They work well together.

I can't wait for Ben Foster & Ryan reynolds podcast. I am an Arsenal fan, you can tell foster just loves the game, had a decent career hope wrexham do get that promotion

Going from retirement to saving a PK at the end of a game between the two top teams that secured the win and kept them ahead, amazing pickup for Wrexham. Good thing he wanted to give back to the club he was with early on

This suits all parties. This isn’t about money. Ben Foster is on a career path post football that involved KZread, podcasts and social media, Ryan Reynolds is a walking billboard and can increase your following to a worldwide audience who would never know who you were otherwise. Everyone should remember that it was Rob McElhenney that talked Ryan Reynolds into getting involved. Reynolds is the bigger star, no question, but McElhenney is criminally underrated and one of the greatest writers, producers and creators of his generation.

Sherringham actually played a cup game i believe for stevenage as a player manager, i remember that cant believe he forgot

He was thinking of connecting with RR and RM to further his post playing opportunities. I mean, this guy was offered a role at Newcastle, so his play is clearly miles above where Wrexham is. This fit goes well beyond the game, and it's brilliant!

Such a likeable character who happens to still be a top goalkeeper. Hope he manages to help get Wrexham over the line and the bonus for fans is we will get to live it a little as I’m sure Ben will give us a good amount of footage behind the scenes 👍

Proper football 'sparks' the interest of British people. The school team, the pub team, the Sunday league team, the local team and the 'big team' nearby. Whatever the 'level', the passion is there. What has caught my imagination and been an inspiration to me is not 'Hollywood Stars', but a realisation that a community can be transformed with, to all intents and purposes, minimal outlay. It doesn't take much to make us happy.

Alfie Whiteman the goalie in Spurs reserve atm. Fraser Forster doing a good stint , see if Hugo gets back , but the whole defence needs a shakeup and with all the other drama surrounding the Manager ,Owners and DoF it is hard times at the top. Hope Wrexham get a chance to savour it., really good fan base and always singing.

Good signing for loads of reasons for Wrexham. His high-level experience should be invaluable. As a player - he's nearly 40 but has played at a much higher level. Can probably be good for a couple of years for them. As a coach - might not want to transition into that but is likely to help young keepers just with his presence. As a media figure - will talk the club up in interviews and raise profile even more.
