Every time I watch a video from Ryan or Brian, my list of things to buy grows.
A lot of really good information nuggets in this one. There’s a huge difference between someone who says This is what I use and it works for me VS This is what you should buy. True Experience knows there is no perfect solution for everything or everyone. Well done sir
Hahaha😂that pack almost dwarfs you at the entry of the video! You da man
man even lampers has ditched the stone glacier for that new initial ascent. i need to pick one up
I go on 10-12 days unassisted hunts. Got this bag, and I LOVE IT. INITIAL ASCENT, great company, great customer service and the bags carry extremely well.
Perfect timing for this video release! Can't wait to get out this weekend
great information Lampers thank you good luck on your spring bear hunt hope we get to see your videos on your hunts .Im to old to do the hunts now so live vicariously through all you young ones hunts LOL God bless and stay safe out there
Thank you Ryan for taking time out of your busy schedule to share your gear list. This was full of great information The video was well done God's Blessings on all your adventures
Peax bag! Can't wait! Gimme plenty of room!
Really great information here and added a few items to my “need to buy list”. I was hoping to see how you pack your food for a ten day hunt.
I can’t believe all that is only 52 lbs. I was adding my current setup up and I think it’s about 70lbs including boots and clothes that I’ll be weighing. I’m hoping to pack it all this weekend to get a more accurate weight on the scale though.

I think that’s probably just his pack weight. Most folks don’t include boots and clothes in total weight

It doesn't include food or water. If you add those for a 10 day trip, he is looking more like 82lbs.
damn that was informative. Gohunt and Ryan both putting people onto a LOT of game
Love the vid. *Looks like the Ryno Tuff solar charger is out of business. Bummer- at 1lb - that’s so light!
8”x10” inch tarp!😂 we know what you meant! Just busting your balls ryan!
Damn that backpack is almost taller than you lol. Good video.
Ryan I know you guys have been loving the peax tipi. Could you tell me if there’s a difference in the amount of usable space between the peax and the cimmaron? Thanks!

As far as overall size they’re very comparable. The Peax tipi does have a couple features like the doors and cross member stability option that set it apart

Curious - have you tried the powder pants from Duckworth? I have been looking for a heavier bottom layer when it gets cold

I havnt yet but might need to as I’ve liked everything owned from duckworth so far
Do you carry the Duckworth Powder Hoodie in addition to the Grumman or Cirque jackets?
Hi, Thank for your videos. Do you think is a 308w 150gr good for black bear? I don't like 180gr because the drop bullet.
What are the boots? And muzzle brake? Thank you!
Woo hoo!
Stone Glacier. Nice gear but super expensive.
Is it possible that you could break down how you would split up the meat on a typical bear and how you would go about packing it out? I know you typically have multiple hunters but in many cases the hunter wants to get his own game. Given each hunter has to worry about his own game, how do you go about getting it down off the mountain? (curious minds and all...🤔) For that matter this is really a question about how you go about getting game off the mountain when it requires more than 1 trip, and for extra credit which pieces you would take first. (i.e., the hide and head of a bear goes first, then the meat, and this is how I prioritize the meat, etc...). Realize it's a big question...🙄 This is to say, your pack is 52 lbs. Do you leave your gear and take as much meat after hide/head are attached? I have to imagine a bear is gonna net you about 400-500 lbs. of meat in addition to the hide/head? If I was ever so lucky to harvest a bear I would hope I don't spoil the hide/head...Rinella had a vid recently about prep'n a bear so that doesn't happen. Interesting on the Weatherby 338 RPM, I've been planning to go 8.6 blackout which uses similar projectiles. Quite a different cartridge though.
What’s the lid on the gsi microlite?
What size sidearm? I got a 460 s&w taurus revolver. My cousin keeps a 500 s&w. I'd like to get that 45-70 revolver.

Man. It takes $100,000 to fill that pack... wow! I'd love to use that but I have to go with the cheaper stuff, can't spend a years wages on my hunting gear.
What lid is on the GSI Bottle? I can’t find it Kb the webaite

I don’t think Lampers would hunt farmed game. Probably from a overseas hunt.

I was at a studio that had it there, I’d have tossed that in the dump and hung a muley buck!
Are they overtaking what you used to run or are other companies giving you gear for free?

I use what I want and if better equipment pops up I’m gonna try it and run it👍
My Poseidon power bank doesn’t hold charge that long. I can charge my iPhone for 45 min and half of the power on the charger is gone.
Those packable boot dryers… anyone know who makes em?

Back country hike in hunting is not an option in my state. We have the highest level of vehicle theft in the world and you cannot park and hike, anywhere. The more remote it is, the faster your getting robbed. NM is a place you cannot leave a vehicle for more than 24hrs without issue. Even the park rangers and law enforcement will contact there friends and tell them where your vehicle is at.
