RYAN HAYASHI - Episode 5: The Psychological Damage Magic Series - The Impossible Cuts

Ойын-сауық

Ryan Hayashi, European Champion of Magic and lecturer for English at the University of Mannheim in Germany, shows yet another mind-blowing magic trick at work with his students. This routine, which he calls "The Impossible Cuts", is Ryan Hayashi's original creation. The idea is simple: a spectator cuts to four randomly chosen cards from a shuffled deck. Ryan has never seen this done by anyone before, and so has created what he believes to be an original method for what he believes to be an original effect. www.RyanHayashi.com

This one was not fair! My brain hurts! I feel like I just got hit by a heavy truck at full speed! I feel like I'm suffering from Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy caused by this Ryan Hayashi's psychological damage demonstration ! But as if wasn't enough Ryan has decided to wreak and to weaken my heart and my eyesight by choosing the beautiful Annah as an assistant, that's why I had no shot at finding out how in the world did he do that! I'm pretty much sure that she was the key to this trick, it couldn't work with Jabba the hunt as an assistant. NO! Because if you slow down this video to x0.25 speed, you'll see Ryan pulling out the 4 cards from his armpits. The trick is that Annah is the misdirection that makes you look away. Sorry for the spoil 😎

@Felipe Lavratti Even though I was actually joking, I am realizing that my 0.25 speed joke was quite dumb. Don't watch it at 0.25! lol! I didn't do it! I know a little bit of magic but I refuse to know more because to me the beauty of magic is of course to be confused and it's even better when you think you won't be fooled because you know some basics stuff. So people if like me you like magic don't watch it at 0.25 ! For example I know the basics of "balls routine" but I got still fooled by the previous video where Ryan does it! I don't even want to try to understand how. Either you like being psychologically damaged, either you don't ! As for as I'm concerned I love it!

My only question (that you of course don't have to answer) is how did the Queen at the end, end up face up when all the other correct cards were face down before the reveal?
