I have three sisters and one of them absolutely hates Ryan Gosling. She thinks he's hideous. I rarely agree with her choices on things, and personally think Ryan is a handsome actor. There are many handsome guys in Hollywood, but not everyone has the same acting chops. Very impressed with Gosling's performance as Ken in "The Barbie" movie. Subtle but very funny.

Hahan thats so true it brings to mind he was on Ellen and she asked him what his favorite body part was he looks down and goes my left thumb....then she asked him his least favorite and he says loose hair, like if one piece fell off her head he'd lose it lol. It was so low key cleverly answering her stupid questions with stupid answers but without being aggressive. Canadian treasure.

Gosling is a rare actor ….meaning he is not afraid to take chances with different roles that test his huge talent. He does not take himself too seriously which is very appealing to audiences. He is a well balanced husband and father which is very rare in Hollywood. In other words…he is a down to earth guy who appeals to women and men.

Very thorough biography - I had no idea he's been quite as active as that. It's clear he's extremely versatile and talented. My fave of his performances is his aching, haunting role in Blade Runner 2049. And, of course, his Ken went in the complete opposite direction and totally outshined everyone else in that movie.

I loved the movie, “Lars and the Real Girl”. Seen on paper, the premise looks ridiculous - but Ryan was so believable, as were the other actors, that it was a love story between a town and a slightly off-kilter guy. I found the film moving, compassionate, and sweet, and Ryan played it with such heart. It’s still one of my favorite films to this day.

His next role needs to be the lead in “The Scarlet Pimpernel”! He’s the only guy who can pull off the action, dramatic and comedy chops for the role! If the right director takes it on, I believe he would finally be nominated and win for best lead actor. PLEASE! Someone make this movie! It’s been awhile since we’ve had that kind of period piece on the big screen. He would make that character come to life and be unforgettable!

I love the movie Lars and the Real Girl. It goes much deeper than a person being in love with a doll, but about someone who experienced severe trauma and was unable to share his feelings with others. Of course, the film takes you on a journey through his emotions. Fabulous movie, with funny parts. The Notebook is a wonderful piece. I find Ryan to be very handsome and his character makes him even more attractive. The Nice Guys is quite funny. Too many good movies to mention. :)

I was so impressed with the choice of Gosling in the Notebook. But nobody could have portrayed his character so well. I was and remain fond of that movie because it felt so real ❤

I don't really understand why guys hate the notebook so much. It's such a beautiful story. My grandfather was Noah pretty much. My grandmother had Alzheimer's and he couldn't let her go. He only lived about a year after she died. It makes me cry every time. I was crazy about him and I used to hate that I wasn't enough to keep him here, but this movie helps me understand.

I recall the day years ago, when Ryan walked into the gym of my West Texas town. I was on the treadmill at the time. I couldn't believe my eyes! He was wearing a suit, and seemed like a friendly gentleman. He walked over to a couple of trainers and spoke quietly with them. Either he just dropped into town, and was making a personal request to maybe exercise after closing hours, OR he owned the gym and walked in to speak about some business. I never would have dreamed he would have walked into my gym. I had been watching his films, and was used to seeing his face; so I knew it was him, when I saw him.

I too was raised Mormon and raised our 4 kids Mormon in Dallas and a Ski town . All was well until my husband found the truth and we divorced. 15-19. Soon 3 of 4 kids too. We were thrilled to find Ryan Gosling was raised serious Mormon, too. A daughter married a man who looked like Gosling. As a true believer she hoped it wasn’t un-righteous 😂We’ve always followed the all American type boy. 🙏 thank you, young man. Loved Ken!! P.S. Definitely “LaLa Land was a true winner!!

I loved Blue Valentine. It’s a sad movie and Ryan definitely goes against most of the types he’s played. But he was so real in this role; his acting was stellar. I believe I had already seen The Notebook. He’s played many roles and I’ve loved him in everything I’ve seen. But I do want to see the old Blade Runner. And The Fall Guy. He’s something else! I adore him, if you can’t tell.

Great video. Nice research about Ryan. What a humble guy. Thank goodness Hollywood still has a guy like Ryan. 🎶 sings acts dances. Great at all. Committed to his characters. Love lots of his movies. Not a marvel fan. Don't like blade runner. Loved first man. Barbie. LA LA land.

Major turning points for Gosling 1. Half Nelson 2. The Notebook 3. Blue Valentine 4. Crazy, Stupid Love 5. Drive 6. La La Land 7. Blade Runner 2049 8. Barbie Gosling is the perfect choice for all romantic musical movies. He is also a great choice for noir action drama.

The fact that his first love was an lndian girl makes me love him even more. He’s a doll and is obviously exactly the same genuine person he was at 12. So cute without being an annoying “sex pot”.

One of the funniest complaints, to me, was that he was too old to play Ken. If Barbie is old enough to president, which is 35, then Ken shouldn't be a teenager and 40 is about right.

As a father, I found The Place Beyond The Pines is a heartbreaking film. My takeaway was that even with good intentions and despite being from opposite classes a man can still fail terribly as a father.
