As a Sporting season ticket holder, I am more than looking forward to seeing him in action. However, I seriously doubt he will be in the starting 11 in his first season. He needs to adapt to the pace of the Portuguese League, which needless to say, is much faster than the SPFL. But hopefully I am proven wrong.

Damage Whale Bloody harper, there's no way you've ever seen him play, I'm almost certain that he's live in Spain for years. And Feruz hasn't even made a senior appearance yet. Unless you're going to claim you watch all the under 16s, 17s and 18s which most are done all over the place.

Must have plenty of potential for Sporting to buy him. They develop teams around good youth players, I have no doubts he will do the same and reach to high level.

Obviously you can't draw comparisons to the game's greats at such a tender age, but he looks frighteningly Messi-esque in the clips where he wanders up top, and shows flashes of an Iniesta/Coutino style player when playing deeper. Would love to see him continue his development at a quality youth set up where future Premier League opportunities are plausible, such as Liverpool or Southampton. His in-game intelligence already looks well-developed, could prove to be a great prospect.

This guy plays at triple the quality of the SPL. Dundee United are the ones to watch this year simply because of him. 1-0, 4-1, 4-1, 5-2, 4-1, 4-0 are there last 6 fixtures and they haven't lost in the league since october. Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal are all rumoured to be looking for his signature.

While i agree that he has the most talent and will probably play at the highest level of all of them, he's not even been their best player this season. Stuart Armstrong, Andy Robertson and the famous Gary Mackay-Steven(all young players as well might i add) have been better.

09BIJAN09 Gary Hooper was never anything special. Michael Higdon scored more goals than him last season playing for Motherwell ffs. I know you lot have a low opinon on our game but Gauld worse than Sunderland and Cardiff's reserves?

Dundee united fan here... I agree with what you're saying... The scary thing is the team have scored four or more goals in our last 5 games... the game before that was a 1-1 draw with celtic!

ryan gauld is a beast

Sticking to the SPL, 19 y/o Alex Harris of Hibs has a lot of potential. Recently suffered a six month injury after being snapped, but beforehand was Hibs's best player bar Griffiths (unbelievably, Hibs did have players other than Griffiths last year!).

This kid is sensational :D

People will see that he has not scored that much or even that many assists, but what it is is his vision, he isn't passing it just to anyone, he has long been honing where the player he is passing to will pass to, etc its so he can be 2/3 passes ahead of the game, Obviously a step up in portugal but I'm sure Sporting will be able to help him step up his game to that level! Overall his technique, first touch and dribbling tends to be impeccable!

Man U have apparently been looking at him! Dundee United supporter here and by far the best player I have seen at tannadice in my life time. Been going for about the last 11 years to see Dundee United and for vision, passing and skill he is far better than any other player the league has produced! Only other players ive seen with his ability was the players barcelona brought a few years back to play us when they had first got Guardiola. Truly a remarkable talent!
