Based on what? Haney is no KO artist and he had some boring, uninspiring fights going into the bout. Ryan is the star not Haney and it clearly showed. Ryan was the $$$

I don't think the judges initially wanted Devin Haney to win the fights it's just if he's the champion and the challenger isn't knocking him out they're going to give the champion credit.

No, they should give the champion credit purely based off his performance, like anyone else.

Brotha warrior champ Sifu Freddie Lee would you be down with doing a martial art podcast together soon on my channel? I admire what you do at your kung fu kwoon.

Ryan Garcia did well. If people pay attention the left hook that Ryan Garcia throws looks very similar to Floyd Mayweather Jr's; just with more power. Ryan Garcia really used the rangefinding arm from Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Gervonta Tank Davis. Also the training from Derrick James helped Ryan Garcia beat Devin Haney. Those 3 so-called African American black men and their particular styles etc should get more credit from Ryan Garcia and his team etc.

No way would Haney win, look at the KO ration- it’s on Ryan’s side. I saw Haney a few times and he’s very boring with no killer instinct. Ryan was the better fighter going into the fight.

Also at least Ryan Garcia was a man of his word on the level of when he weighed in overweight he paid Devin Haney the penalty fee etc.
