Biggest sign of Ryan's power and it is often an overlooked event, is Ryan easily pushing Homelander onto the ground. No human and 90% of supes would struggle just trying to move Homelander and Ryan shoved him on his butt hard, and Ryan is still a kid.

I’m pretty sure Ryan will surpass his dad by a good margin because he’s genetically the first hero born naturally. Not only that but it’s possible since it’s genetic that he inherited some of soldier boys genetics so he would be more durable. It’s just head canon but either way Ryan in his teenage years can surpass Homelander or at least young adult.

@@Isokka. His father (Homelander)can't see through zinc and he can't use his full strength unless he has his two feet on the ground. Homelander himself confirmed these two weaknesses in season one

The older he gets, likely the more powerful he gets. Once he matures and learns how to control his powers he probably will be that powerful. Notice how in season 4 the suit Vought designs for Ryan looks essentially like a cross between Homelander and Robin. Homelander likely has no intention to ever take a backseat, keeping Ryan in check as his sidekick.

The definition of supernatural is something beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature. In their world v obviously isn’t beyond their scientific understanding but it’s beyond the scientific understanding of our world. And humans being able to fly and shoot lasers from their eyes is certainly beyond the laws of nature. Supernatural doesn’t necessarily mean mystical or magical.
