RX3 feature video.

Spent all day filming this car and all of the next day piecing this video together, I hope you like it. Feel free to chuck in constructive criticism as its only my second video i've ever made.

That was its first drive ever since we got it all back together so it is a lil sketchy pretty much the whole video, its apparently easy, ive never taken it out myself.

I've got some feedback... It's really well shot and I love the way the video flows and how it works with the song; I found the font and the font color distracting. Particularly with such a pretty subject it seemed like either you should have a blank title screen before with that font or something a little more boring and out of the way. It's a bloody good second effort though and can't see where you end up with a few more under your belt

nice one. that's a lot of muffler hanging out the rear! have you raced it, yet? also, i'm generally not a fan of music in car vids.. but sets it off nicely, especially that second track.

Yeah this video was the first time we have had it on the street. Having problems with grip atm so it runs a really slow time and a horrible 60ft. With a play around in the coming months we will set the rear end up a bit better and see how it goes.

I don't know anything bout rx3's BUT this was NICE! BEing a WRX driver, if you warm them up prior to driving and treat them right, do they really fail mechanically as much as some tell me?? Or can they last for years on end without constant rebuilds to the engine??? I know a friend with an rx7 and says very thirsty on fuel. Love the RX3 shape!

If the engine is built by someone that knows what they are doing you will have no problems. The engine in my rx2 was 6 years old, made good power and copped a flogging without an issue. Rotaries got a bad name years ago but many things have changed now. Lots of builders have put many many dollars and hours into kweping big power motors reliable

The thing that kills rotary engines seals is carbon buildup (Mostly the main reason for rebuilds). This is caused by not revving the engine over 5k (7k just to be safe :). An example of this is city driving (RPM's usually dont go higher than 5k) , so flogging it isnt that bad, and as the doctors say, a redline a day keeps the carbon away!

kenkko asagi lol @the redline a day phrase! I know they rev pretty high in general so guess 7k not really much for them as opposed to "regular" engines. Interesting to know though how they perform.
