Reading all the wonderful comments from SA fans makes me so happy as a Fijian fan . I hope we as Fijians will also be as gracious in defeat . Rugby wins .

I'm a springbok supporter but watching Fiji win and watching how happy they were winning that game put a lump in my throat. Well done Fiji.

Well played Fiji. My heart goes out to the South African girls. Their coach walked away because he could not stand how badly these ladies are treated by Rugby SA. For them to do so well, even in the face of this is astonishing.

Even as a SA fan, you cant help but love watching fiji win, love the players and the fans!

Fantastic game of rugby. The Fijian front rower is big powerful and quite mobile. That run in the final play sucked in 3-4 defenders and opened up space for the final try scorer.

@@peachesandherb9018 If I were you, I'd wait until next week when both teams will have played England and France. The 2 teams share a common problem, the Saffas play against Uganda, Kenya and Madagascar, the Fijiana play PNG and Samoa. Both countries rugby unions need to fund the teams to play regular fixtures against better teams. I know a number of players, from both teams, already play in England in the PremierXV's more need to do that to drive up standards. Both teams are at the beginning of a journey, the biggest danger has always been that some people would use their struggles against the top teams as a excuse to shut the programs down

Hope i don't offend anyone for saying this, but most of the tackles made are of low quality... most simply tried to grab the jerseys instead of the traditional shoulders into the opponent.... And the try 2:23... defense never come up together in a straight line which has so many holes... this is so basic and they were all over the place without checking others are coming up together.... Most tries resulted from a series of poor tackles attempt and poor cover tackles too....

Woman's rugby only got taken seriously recently in SA that's why the girls are average with time they will get better, what's more worrying is the amount of people from SA who act as if they don't know that women's rugby is a new thing in SA and expect these people to be wonder women already. Then you get the racists talking about BEE only the lord knows where that features in.

Have the sa women not been trained to go low on big players. If you tackle the legs, the player is going nowhere. That was their downfall here

As I was watching that celebration by South Africa in the final minutes was short lived. Reminds me when Zelensky celebrated after he destroyed the bridge 😂. Great game both teams. Bother are underdogs however they are both doing well. Heads up SA.

Good lord this South African women Team is awful. They will be just like the soccer team . No way ever they will make it close to a world cup success . If I must compare this to the nz women. It is day and night difference. Sa needs to take a hard look at themselves. This world cup is embarrassing for our nation . Don't even look well coach . Unfit and lack the skills of the nz , aussies , England and France women teams . Needs to invest big time or quit completely

We're not all avid sports fans who knew that the Women's Rugby World Cup was delayed due to Covid. Surely it doesn't take much to insert the word "Women" somewhere?
