You make the installation look easy. I wish the unit was a little smaller, but it sounds like it does the job.

An accumulator! I hate that noise and vibration. I'm on my way to the store! Ok, actually I'm on my way online to Amazon ... $42! Thank you. I owe you for professional mechanic advice.

I also read on the forum using soft hose quiets it down a bit. The white hose that came with the kit does look soft. The problem with the Pex is it’s so hard and doesn’t expand causing the water hammer. Thanks for the video!! I should probably do this before the end of hibernation.

Thanks for telling me about the suggestion on the forum! I think it would still hammer a bit without the accumulator and we're really glad we installed it!

yes... 13mm irrigation piping is quite a wonderful material in that regards, just do not make the mistake of using the plastic clamps on any interior fitting, only the stainless steel clips or scre-tightened clamps on your connectors

Thanks for this one. I had seen another guy on KZread installed a 2 gal residential tank in his Escape 19 and that seemed a little overkill to me. I’ll look into this one and see if I can figure out a good place to put it in an E19.

Hadn't seen one of those before. Good to know. Wondering if you could attach it to the bottom side of the bench, beside the wire bundle. Hard to get in there to do it but if you could, it would be out of the way. Thank you for the video.

Just a quick question or two….this sounds like a great feature, is that similar to an expansion tank? Also I noticed where the water pipes go to the outside the wall seems to be only fiberglass letting the light from outside to be visible through the fiberglass layers…..is that a spot that should have insulation to keep temperatures more level? Am I overthinking things?

Hi John! Thanks so much for watching all our videos and commenting! Your name has popped up a lot!! It is similar to an expansion tank. It would be nice to have more insulation in that spot but we keep the bench open if we're camping in really cold weather overnight. Haven't had a problem yet!
