Dave S, this is AWESOME. I have a 349M toy hauler and wanted the patio screen doors but Grand Design wants almost $1,500 for them and I've been racking my brain about how to make my own. I'm all over this and thank you so much for sharing your ideas.

We had one of the roll up screens on our 2011 Work &Play toy hauler. It failed and had to be repairs a few times. Took your concept and adapted it to our opening. We used two 36” and a 30” door to fill the space. We will be taking it out next weekend. Thanks for the inspiration. Saved me money and the hassle of dealing with the dealer!

hey Dave wondering about the track at the bottom? when you go to bring your quads, MC, toys, etc... into the rig. you have to run over the lower channel how well does it hold up to this, being aluminum channel doesn't it just bend over and get flattened, distorted, from that the sliding doors wont go back and forth like they need to. thanks

Dave S , im pretty handy but i can't figure out the frame portion of your build...even looking at your instruction you made. Could you either take some pics of it or shoot another video of you assembling it ...need more detail about the frame itself, and how it sits in the opening... Thanks

Myfootsasmokin yes Home Depot and Lowe’s both have it. Screen doors were on sale at Lowe’s

How did you attach the frame together at the corners?

Most screen kits, at the big box stores, come with the corners for attaching the frames together. This is a great set up and will use this idea when we get our unit.

Dave I just ordered same unit as you but the 2022 XLR Micro boost 25LRLE. Sadly you have NO material list or plans above as you stated - unless I'm blind?
