If you disable the 360 camera, and then tap anywhere on the screen, it will zoom in on the ball. There are 3 settings, and the last one looks straight down on the ball.

I believe the proper way is to use the weight distribution hitch first then inflate the airbags after everything is setup and level. The problem with airbags is it gives you a false level… they don’t distribute weight when they inflate so you could be under distributed and light up front if you make adjustments while they are inflated.

I feel most WDH systems are hoky; it’s all about the WD and getting weight over the steer axle. Don’t get me wrong they assist some; yet what’s Key is proper WD; a true sway control could be an Hensly Hitch system yet that’s scary on switch backs on a decent from 8 thousand feet .. I have towed over 100 TT’s and it comes down to WD! Love this B&W WDH absolutely stunning! I will keep my Anderson Hitch as a back up in-case the hydraulic fails ? I will be at the FLA Tampa Super RV Show come January 17, I see us buying one.

Does it have an alternative trailer height like the RAM? I'd say take the "slack" out of the WD hitch then engage alt trailer height and let it "drop" into the WD hitch to make sure the hitch is actually doing something.

What air bag system do you have in your truck? Pretty slick setup!

Interesting hitch for sure. This maybe off topic but you heard about the settlement between the U.S. & Cummins? If so will you be doing a video on that to talk about things? Happy Holidays!✌🏽

Any more word from B&W on when they will be introducing the new mid-heavy duty hitch to replace the one they discontinued?

Yeah. 3 second generation Tundras in. The only way I'll buy a 3rd generation is if they make a 3/4 ton 4 cylinder turbo.

Nice review ! couple of questions: do you recommend 2H wheel or 4H wheel drive setting while towing a trailer ? How was your experience when toggled between 2H and 4H in terms of payload and mileage ? What’s the size hitch ball for the you used?

It may be just the video perspective, but that WSD looks very low to the ground.

JD, how close to the ground is that hitch assembly? It looks like it is very close to the ground. Do you know the measurement on that? Thanks.

I own two of these hitches. one for a travel trailer and one for a cargo trailer. I have never come close to bottoming it out or smacking it on anything and that is being hookup to both my 3.4 ton ram and a dodge durango.

That continuum hitch appears to sit really low. Have you had any clearance issues with it?

None so far. Not even when going over relatively unlevel transitions

YES !!!! I had one and got rid of it for that reason. Boondocking in some locations (Big Bend) and some beach driving exposes this setup.

Probably depends on the trailer you are towing. I tow a 2024 Arctic Fox Northfork 25R which sits up very high so it can go off road and towing with a 2019 Ford F250 2wd and I have all kinds of clearance with the hitch. I'm guessing something like and Airstream that sits low could have issues.

Why not add a level to the tongue? This way you could see how level the trailer is while adding pressure.
