I have a trailer in my driveway, my clean out is about 30 feet away. I’d like to attach two 15’ hoses ( do they make 20?) so that I don’t have to always back the trailer down to clean out. Any advice for this situation?

Thanks for asking. Here are a few thoughts that might be helpful. We've had good luck with both Camco RhinoFlex and Thetford Titan hoses. Both companies make 15 foot hoses. Two could be connected to make a 30 foot length. Keep in mind that you'll need to have enough height from the top to the bottom to ensure good flow. We have heard, but haven't tried, that a macerator is a better system for when you have a long distance between the RV and the drain or if you need to go uphill. Several RV bloggers have shared their experience with macerators. For example, RV Lifestyle Mike has a nice writeup at: rvlifestyle.com/rv-macerator-pump/ Do It Yourself RV shared: www.doityourselfrv.com/rv-macerator-pump/ Hope that helps.

Thanks for the question. We have a video & post specific to hooking up water for the camper that may be of help: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lWWgmZVqpqjTcqQ.html and traveltrailsail.com/rv-drinking-water-safe-hose-connections/ We are currently using a Camco Evo Flex drinking water hose. It's light blue. What we like is that it is very flexible and easy to coil. In some of our posts, you might see a white hose which is a standard camper drinking water hose. You mention seeing 2 water hoses. We are able to use just one - but it needs to be long. At some campgrounds, we combine 2 25 foot hoses to make a 50 foot water hose. The other item in the video/post that may look like a hose is a black 50 amp power cord. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have questions.

Um you should mention that the black water valve should be kept shut. I noticed when you removed the cap the valve was open, that could have spelt disaster lol.

Thanks. Good eye. Not sure how the valve was open at that point in the video - but we did film at the start of a camping trip when the tanks were empty. As you mentioned, keep your valves closed until you are ready to dump your tanks.
