I worked for 3 different painting contractors back in the day and your right about getting what you pay for. Also what most people don't realize is the prep work is about 90% of successful painting. You do nice work.

When I see people walking out of Lowe's with cheap paint I want to barricade the exit door and force them into better decisions.

0000 steel wool will cut the glaze on the woodwork so your primer will stick. To paint silicone caulk, go over it with paintable caulk first. Sherwin-Williams is my favorite too. After working several years in light construction/remodel, I’ve covered up all kinds of crap. Love your adjustable desk, too.

Marci Reale I tried the wool at the beginning. It just scratched the shit out of the trim. Still ran right off. Dreadful project.

As someone trying to build my courage to use paint inside our beloved rig...I am cracking up at this video. Best I have seen in a long time. I love how real Casey is. HA!

I don't know who you are, but you gotta do "Stand Up". The mix of realism, wit, honesty, and you're just plain cute, just kept me riveted. I wanna watch all your remodels, cause I'm strangely inspired to Go For It on a remodel. And I can't even put a simple do-it-yourself (with that little tool inside) project without destroying the final project, with extra parts just sitting there.

I did the same with my windows. New fabric,(actually 4 piece curtain set from Home Goods) staple gun and tension rods was easy peasy !! Your new rig is looking great!

Thanks Dave. Honestly, when that first line of gooey primer hit the wall my thought was, "What the hell did I do?" Because there was no turning back at that point and yet no end in sight.

Thank you for another informative video. I have a Promaster that is being built out. I am going to do all the finishing work such as tiles, painting, flooring and cushions. So, your video was very timely. I did watch another video with stick on tiles in an RV. They used liquid nails. What do you think about using that?

Glorious Life On Wheels no because if you ever want to change it you will have to rip the ENTIRE wall off with liquid nails. This is plenty of surface bonding but COULD come off if needed

The trim on the valences is a nice touch. You did a great job making your RV just the right for you.

I used the Sherwin Williams Color Consultant as well as my color perception has changed since getting CrystaLens implants. I wanted someone to verify my choices were accurate! haha. Good source of another set of eyes picking color.

The paint is a world of difference. Picking the right shade of white turned out to be rather important. Many of them pulled yellow and, while it may just look "white" its a subtle tint just off of white that minimizes the starkness of pure white while still looking very clean.
