How great is this!?! I love seeing more people renovating and repurposing anything, rv's are even more challenging! We ALL can learn and help each other which is priceless. I'm renovating a 1993 fleetwood bounder Class C RV by myself and showing details and solutions on how to fix things right!! Thanks for sharing, let's do this!!!
Best RV renovation ever. Everything was so practical, and the aesthetic improvements are remarkable.
Absolutely spectacular job documenting your past RV retrofit. Spot on descriptions, tips, and ingenuity.... Well done!
Your RV looks so spacious. Thanks for showing us around your lovely home.
Thank you for doing this video! We just bought a 1991 Winnebago Warrior at an auction for a crazy low price and were searching for all sorts of ideas to spruce it up. Yours is the most informative and helpful video I've come across. While I can't say I've seen dozens but I've seen a lot and yours is definitely the most concise and useful. I'm a subscriber right away and will definitely be returning soon! Thanks again!

I was checking a lot of rv tips but this is the best video. Thank you so much.
I have to say your Renovations came out awesome I definitely think then I can do mine now it's not so overwhelming and please keep the videos coming guys are absolutely fantastic and I am going to continue to watch you guys thank you so much for taking the time to make this video
Great video guys!!! The remodeling of the fifth wheel was precise and very accurate, and fits your lifestyle. I agree on the rug deal, yank it out and put in flooring that you guys decided on. My wife and I are planning to " go on the road". within the next 3-4 years . Keep up the good work and keep those videos acoming !!!! My prayers for both of you on the road and to good health. Alan

Thank you, Alan! That is so kind! And best wished to you as you make plans for your upcoming travels!
One of the best KZread videos I’ve ever seen. Great content. Well planned, informative, and well presented. Most RV videos I’ve seen are people that like to talk, and talk...and talk...and talk...while actually saying little to nothing. Redundant. Rambling. And on the technical side you did a great job as well. Great lighting. Great editing. Great audio. I’m not sitting here going “Well there’s 23 minutes of my life wasted I’ll never get back.” Great job guys! On both the RV and the video!

Thank you! We appreciate the insightful comment. My goal is that our videos serve a purpose, but I am lacking on the editing/filming side. So, it is nice to hear when we have done well, and we will try to keep it up. Thanks, again.
Thank you for this walk through! My husband and I are currently looking for a camper to buy and live in full-time with our two year old son and dog. We're on a limited budget since we're trying to buy everything outright, but we hate the dark feel of most older campers. These tips are going to come in handy soon!
Your rv has very good vibes!!! Feels like its very cozy and nice to be in
Really enjoyed the video presentation aside from just the RV renovation tour thumbnails and content is super fantastic really useful tips on structuring my videos Love the outtake as well! Well DONE!
great job on the renovation. The desk with the space for the cords is ideal I will use it on my project. Great job with the walk thru.
Wonderful update on how you guys completed your original remodel. Thanks so much for all the good/functional ideas!

love the tips, just bought a camper and it has to be gutted so your ideas are right up my ally!! Thanks
This is a great video! Your RV is beautifully done, and has given me many ideas for renovating my own RV... when I get one! lol! I will be buying an older Class C, and will be changing the interior to suit my taste (very similar to yours). Thank you!
I love your renovation! We also bought an older RV and took your advice using Sherwin Williams. Excellent coverage and beautiful white paint! Thanks for sharing your RV life!

I like it...u guys did a great job...happy traveling to u both
Hi Jen. Thanks for giving a tour of your RV. I recall the first time I saw one of your youtube videos, I was like "oh wow, such a nice and modern looking interior. I don't normally see RVs with such white, modern interiors". Since then, I have learned there are modern RVs with more modern décor but the first time I saw the interior of your RV I was really blown away -- positively -- by how nice and modern looking it was. More and more I hear about folks who want more modern interior décor using stuff from IKEA -- haha.. that's pretty interesting. Good idea! Curious, was this video shot a while ago? I thought you two headed back out full time back in May or June? Did you go back home and unloaded everything in July? I'm a little confused.
Well done guys, great job. Very well presented.
Love your home. So practical and fresh. Great job

Hi, Cheryl! Thanks so much for the feedback - best wishes with your reno!
Love it!! Can I borrow Chris? LOL I did buy an RV a month ago...I hate the carpet too but 😥 I have no Chris so I'm stuck with it. Thanks for showing it..love it Chris awesome job!!
You gotta are awesome! This is one of the best flips ever. You guys made it so simple that anyone can do! I love your RV. I'm not sure if you mentioned what model is this RV? I love all the lighting from the windows. It's so bright and airy!
Great renovation. Nice job.
Anyone count how many times the name Chris was said? :) Love the RV. Good job.
This is by far the most informative video, thxs!! . . & jus an FYI, your xmas green wired lights can be replaced with IKEA lights in silver wire, so it blends almost invisibly on your white walls, around $5 a box.
Like this a lot!
Looks great!
Great job. Love it
Wow looks Awsome 😃👍...Don’t let my wife see this lol..I just finished 3 Honey do lists and I would like to relax a little...lol👌
Well done!
Very professional tour. Quite excellent work. Minor catches would be where the stairs stores the shoes...the paint should have followed all the way through because when you lift the top cap you can see that it wasn't completed. Also, you might consider for your Christmas lights... white wires which would be more attractive then the dark wire that's surrounding the RV. Light strips are both attractive and practical if you want to highlight or illuminate.
great video, you kids do the best videos. BTW we have been using our rv there yet and love it.

Welcome back
BEAUTIFUL
good job guys!!!
PS, I'm a paint contractor for almost 41 years. Less expensive paint two or three maybe more coats difficult to work with. Sherman Williams typically one coat easy to work with.
Inspiring.
Love your place
When traveling (especially in hot and humid states), you ever have problems with bugs coming in through the crevices of the slide or any other place? Also, what was the total weight before and after renovation? Do you have any problems towing? I’d love to see more of your bathroom area!
High Energy !!!!
great job!
Nice remodel.
very nice guys. Been a big fan for awhile. Have the calendar/log book from your first offering, and am needing the second offering I enjoy this expanded video of the renovation. I've painted my class A in white and what a difference!! keep up the great videos. FYI: I"m now a full timer ""
For the sharp edge of the plastic in the bathroom you could add some thick soft glue and mold it into a softer edge.
Nice job.
To Wander Freely - After 42 years as a new home designer specializing in the 'smaller is smarter' concept, I was forced to retire due to health issues. But once a designer, always a designer so I have the luxury of choosing a project for the fun of it rather than for the money to keep the business running. Two years ago I completed my first "Tiny House" design for a newly wed couple [with an 18" dishwasher and a wash/dry combo], what a learning curve, and have just signed with a retired couple to do another. A 600 sq ft stick built house I completed this past spring is underway and was just 'closed in'. As you obviously know, EVERY INCH matters when you're working with inches but your video left me with a few questions, not being critical, just asking.... What's the over all length of the house and what's your tow vehicle? Why is the access door to the wash/dry hinged right rather than left? Why was the space behind the wash/dry unit not concealed with a full length door? You obviously have no pets. Why are the 'shoe doors' not hinged? Why did you not paint the frame of frig/freezer unit white? What's the heating source and did you do anything to improve the insulation and stock windows? Over all you did a very nice job, I liked and I subscribed. Now I have catch up.
Glad to see a new video!! When do y'all hit the road again?

We are still on the road! But, we are in PA for a little while. I filmed this back in this Spring before we got on the road, but I waited to publish it until we had written the corresponding articles for our website. Sorry, I know it can get confusing sometimes.
Great video. (you could change the Xmas lights from a green wire to a white)
Great video voice enjoy watching it
IKEA.... Good for RV’s, dorm rooms, apartments and art studios! Thank you for your retrospective advice!👍. I just bought my first reno.... I have a sink and mirror area outside of the bathroom and I was thinking of pulling It out and installing a washer and dryer.... Thoughts?!?!? I have a 24 ft. Class c
Loved it
Good job 🤗
Very nice.
I Love this! How did you vinyl the slide out floor transition?
I'm thinking of the RV that Ned Flanders bought and the one that Homer bought. "The Simpson's have entered the forest." Lol 😄
Use an emery board on the front of your plastic stops if they are too sharp!
Great job on the reno! Just one suggestion, add LED strips instead of Xmas lights for full time and you can use your Xmas lights if you need them for Xmas decorations. My son-in-law has those thing all over his house, around and behind the big TV, under cabinet lights, everywhere! He is after my tiny house now. I'm cool with it as long as they aren't bright, I have bilateral macular holes so can't take direct bright light. My windows are covered by darkening and insulating curtains and they really help with insulating windows. I lived in a fifth wheel so I know how it goes. Have fun!

I agree, those lights are awful looking after all that beautiful work
Hi and GREAT JOB !!!...I just found your videos as Im about to embark on my adventure fairly soon too. Is this rv a 5th wheel or is this drivable ?. Thanks and ENJOY THE RIDE !
Hi. I loved what you done. So cozy! Please could you say which RV Model is?
Great video, I'm considering this! Do you have details of how you actually ran the plumbing lines for installing the washer/dreyer? I assume there was no hot/cold lines at that location in your RV prior to making the change? Thanks for any details you could provide!
I tried looking up your pull out sofa at Ikea but the one that looks like yours says it pulls into a double not a king. Is yours not the Brimnes model?
"OurV" that is a really good slip, we are getting a motor home today, thinking about going part time ( a month at a time) plan on removing the analog TVs (2005 33' Holiday Rambler) and the carpet, it already has the same brand w/d y'all have, in fact is how i found your channel by searching for videos of that combo W/D. Do ya'll ever have any regrets about going the 5th wheel route, and did you consider a motor home. enjoy your videos and plan to catch up, y'all upload weekly?
It’s good you put on a backsplash. Bc painted walls stain. It’s a pain.
Great video, thank you for sharing. Question, how old was the RV you purchased? Was it a private sale or through a dealer? Your video is very informative. Safe travels!
Are the string lights just for mood or are they a budget solution for more lighting. How did you hang them, command hooks or something else? I love the windows in your kitchen!
Did you consider adding extra insulation under the floor when you replaced the flooring? Also, can you show us what it looks like at night with the Christmas lights on?

Love your RV it's beautiful. Much happiness always to both of you
Awesome!!!👠🚌👠
What washer/dryer do you have? Do you like it? My understanding is they take a looooooong time and don’t do a great job drying. Love the vinyl flooring idea! Does it look cheesy though? It looks great on the video
Why does no one ver think if putting stainless steel backsplash? Then you could use magnetic storage.

Good stuff. Thanks for sharing. 😊
I am looking into using vinyl sheet flooring for our RV. We also have slides and I'm trying to figure out how this works. Did you use any underlayment?
Great job...any idea on how many man hours it took to paint and prime everything?
Great "OurV" test of time guide. So appreciate your thorough explanations. You two came up with great solutions. Love the Washer/Dryer addition. A MUST! And your Ikea revelation will help other's I am sure! The extra kitchen shelf speaks to functionality but it also helps my OCD in those wacky senseless wasted spaces all RV's have. Your shelf makes so much more sense! Question: Which is based on watching another reno that also removed the carpet installed new flooring (they used stick on laminate, where they didn't click, but stuck via glue strip to each other) ...anyway after hours, weeks, months of reno and new flooring they finally closed the slide (just as you described here the carpet had added height/cushion to the slide's clearance), as it slid across the floor. Under the slide in theirs, in an unreachable area, there was a half driven screw that was hidden deep In carpet they removed and it now was protruding making contact to the new flooring. The screw head left a gouge in their new flooring after engaging the slide. That story along with your "flap" solution has me thinking and I wanted to ask...would it be possible to leave the underside of the rolled under carpet to protect your new flooring as the slide comes back over? You wouldn't see it, it would act like a window fuzzy on your car door (2) Would leaving it attached keep the flooring more level or would it permit the slide to remain at the elevated height as it was carpeted? I think the whole point of the conversation you were trying to get across is that you are removing THICK flooring and replacing with thin, there is a trade off in places to get the flooring to meet up again. I have not begun a project yet, so I don't have one to find the answer myself. Since your theme of this video is wear test/and use I thought you may be the right one to ask. If you followed this novel long enough to understand and can address it, I Thank you for your time! Loved your OURV! : )
Change the electrical outlet covers to white and it will be done and gorgeousus
Awesome Reno’s! What colours did you use?
What type of paint did you use on your cabinets & what type of paint did you use for your walls.
