Tried to make it work with just the topper but it was not much better for me. Maybe could have tried a different topper but this is so much better.

Great video! We just bought a new Rpod 192. I was wondering do you think the 8 inch short queen would fit better than the full queen ?

We prefer the regular queen but the RV Queen might work better. If it's too short you can put some foam at the top and adjust length

Hi guys, we purchased the suggested bed mattress, but want to order the bunk latch w/finger loop spring loaded & the Murphy bed strike plate at the number listed, & the recording says it needs an extension. Please let me know, thanks!

We got the 10” short Queen for our murphy bed and it’s so heavy, I can’t lift it myself. It’s also so tall, I need a step stool to get into bed. I’m wondering how much better an 8” would’ve been. I’m only 5’.

It is holding up well. We have been "moochdocking" for the last 45 days as we await completion of an addition on our house so have used every night. Ours mattress has cooling gel so it has not been hot to us while using during hot summer weather in Arkansas! Thanks so much for watching

@@OurAmericanTravel How is the addition to home coming along or did they complete it ? Anyway appreciate the reply. we are now shopping for a mattress. Perhaps a hybrid type. And want to try to stay under 75lbs for a mattress. I'm big on keeping TT light.

Thank you for sharing! We just purchased our pod 192 and noticed how uncomfortable the mattress was, even w the topper. We are also adding the extra latch. We have it back at the dealer to have a shower surround installed. We were concerned about the wallpaper in the shower getting water damage over time. Have you had any issues w yours? Thanks! Any thoughts about using a 6" mattress with 2" topper.

Thanks for watching. I’m not sure about that. It kinda depends on what your used to and what kind of mattress and what kind of topper. This mattress is pretty good for us. At home we have a 12 inch version of same mattress so we get a similar feel. Hope you find the right combo for you. Happy camping!

We are the happy campers with our new 2021 192 r pod! Have not been able to take it out as of yet though. Very curious how you like the mattress now that you have spent some time with it. Is the zinas mattress a standard firmness? Comfortable?. I know we also want to get a new mattress but need a firm- ish one.

The Zinus is fairly firm. We have the 12 inch version in our house and really like it. We have spent the last 140 or so nights on it as we wait for the addition to be finished on our house. Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!

Also…what type of mattress is it? I went to the Zinus website and saw three different types: memory foam, hybrid, and cooling gel.
