I grew up in eastern SD and have been to the Black Hills a bunch of times but never spent as much time in many of these towns, other then Deadwood. These videos from people from different states visiting the Black Hills area make me wish I didn’t move away for so long and forgot my home state. I moved back to SD and feel a need to rediscover the best part of South Dakota.

Too bad we always have to change the music to something that we have a license for. If you heard and saw the dancing with the actual sound track, it is way better. And we DANCE way better with the correct music,............which this wasn't. Thanks for checking in,....

I was at my peak in 2008! I am a shell of a dancing man now,......

My wife and I are both from Rapid City. We had just gone full time RV'ing August 1. Aug 15th, we drove in to the Hart Ranch Resort from Colorado. So we were only a few miles away from Hill City. I'm glad you tried out Prairie Berry. They are the winery to hit! I hoped you tried The Wild Bill and Gold Digger labels. Two of my favorites. My wife knows the founders and owners of Prairie Berry. Great stuff! Oh BTW, we have learned so much from your channel!

No one I know likes those rails on the sidewalk. My father-in-law is in his 80's and has been having breakfast in the cafe for a very long time, in fact some of my husbands high school band things are hanging in the back room. The rails make it difficult for anyone with motion disabilities. Our home base is in Hill city, we can see the back of Mount Rushmore thru the trees. We only go to the Alpine for "special" stuff. I'm not a big beef eater...but my husbands family is. As for firehouse...our go to lunch place. We buy a lot of wine and beer..We love the smokejumper and blackhills brown, but then we really love dark beer...

YES! I had two Bloody Mary's tonight during dinner in the club house at the resort we are at in Savannah GA! Haven't done that in a long time!

Hey Mark! My friends just had TWO Lectric bikes stolen in Oregon that were locked up just like yours, and with audible alarms. These guys hit them with a battery high speed grinder and cut through everything! BEWARE! ThomyT

Ive been to Rafter J, nice park but I prefer something smaller. Have you tried the Roost Resort in Custer? Small park with only 11 sites but it will take you away from the noise that "RV City" feeling. They only offer 30 AMP but its worth checking them out. We loved it there.

Sue & I are lazy campers! For our rig, 30 amp just is too inconvenient. We don't mind a little hustle & bustle, PLUS we LOVED their pool and hot tub!

Cindy seems like she's so much fun to be with..a very nice person...other times I've seen her on your channel and wondered..does she fulltime alone ?

@@iwasthere1390 Cyndi is very outgoing, smart as a whip and friendly. She is a treat to be around. Her animals provide security and entertainment. Feel free to ask Cyndi directly on her channel what it is like to travel SOLO. As of today, 11-14-2021, she has about 5 months on the road alone under her belt!

We were at Gaffney Freightliner SC on November 4th 2021, and of course, everything was fine! We will chalk it up as a glitch,........and reset things (reboot) again if it happens to our 2014 Newmar Dutch Star Motorhome now that we know how to do it. The blank dash IS a RECALL issue for much NEWER Freightliner Chassis that need to have a firmware update. That was not our issue.

Mark, I am not certain you have sufficiently evaluated your security. Under the inky blackness of darkness a bunch of burly, Black Hills bikers could lift your Dutch Star, and slip away with the eBikes, Krypton locks and chain without you noticing. But with the first prize in the Lawrence Welk danceathon you and Sue won you can buy new eBikes.

Actually,..........before any ebike sellers find out my Dutch Star is gone, and with it THE CHANNEL,...........I would simply get two of the FREE ebikes that all the other RV Channels are hawking! I have turned down at least 6 bikes already because they all look too uncomfortable for this old guy. Waiting for ELUX to come up with a good one!

We are in Savannah GA for two weeks,…..then Jacksonville FL for two weeks,…….St Augustine, FL for two weeks,……..Ft Pierce FL for one week…………….Auburndale FL for two weeks,……… then the 2022 Tampa Florida RV Show,………..finally settling in Ft Myers FL for two months or more.

Now that we just drove through Atlanta, we are homesick for spacious, wide open roads, with miles of empty horizons. I love the west.

I was so disappointed with this video. all that food and no invite. I am crushed. you could have at least ask me to do the dishes! Or lick the bowl. MMMM all that bacon, it looks so good. So funny. I learned that Mark has a "fondness" for locking things up (that's a little weird}, he must have been a gymnast by his ability to crawl under the handrail with such grace, and enjoys the finer things in life such as Welch's Grape Elixir. How about treating us to an episode of the fine art of grilling bacon.....now that would be better than any wine tasting for sure!!!!

I know the flaming bacon looks bad, but I got to tell you,.......we made it to times like this now and it really turns out great. We only slop the grill up when we are sure it's going to see other action. We only grill personally about 6 to 8 times a YEAR!

We have those locks left over from our home from our other bikes. Makes locking them up in the Honda a breeze. Progressive Full Timers policy only covers $500 for a stolen bike. (I am assuming that is for each!) We have about $3000 in each bike.
