You beautiful wandering people, you,...and Mona!!!! How freakin' cool is this? Hank's lookin pretty dapper out in the sand too, glad you aired the tires down, it really does make a big difference. The camper looks fantastic, all spec'd out and now it's been broken in by having the first beers cracked open inside!! I don't know quite how to say this without sounding like I'm in a Ron Jeremy uhm, film but Chris, your "happenis" is palpable, it so intense it almost explodes on the,...So I was thinking, have you seen any collapsible crab traps down there that are built sturdy, you know, something you can use more than once? I know you two are tight for space so I figured a take down crab trap might fit in with your generator. Beats a regular trap strapped down on the roof of the, say, what are we calling the camper? If we're having a vote, I'll nominate "Peggy" for the camper's name or, given Chris' flair for cosmetics "Henry". Mind you if you name the camper Peggy then you can name the bike "Bobby" or "Luanne" but "Bobby" the bike sounds better. I'm really kinda pissed at KZread for not notifying me that your escapade,...I mean episode was posted. I suppose given where you are, you could superimpose the head of the Statue of Liberty just off the beach in the water and Chris and Elizabeth could reenact the scene from Planet of the Apes where Charleton Heston does the "Damn You!! Damn You all to Hell!!" speech and then we ,...well you can post it directly to the upper morons at KZread!!! I think that's a fabulous plan, what do you two think!? I have to go and shower now to get rid of the "Happenis" line,...I just feel dirty, so, so dirty. , , , Filthy.

We definitely want to go back and fish in the fall!! We love the place . But your right the bugs are no joke when the wind drops off

I haven't even watched the video....but I read everything prior. And this resonated: "Capability to get there is why we didn't choose vanlife." I've ALWAYS felt the same. As in, 4x4 i standard equipment, and why vans don't offer the same is mystery to me! There's a MARKET there. I've owned two Wranglers- and the appeal is being able to go places most people CAN'T go! Off-grid baby; no power, hook-ups, dump stations, blah blah blah. Just.....Get Out "THERE". Aside from JDM older vans/imported....there aren't any Domestic 4x4 vans that I know of. (not to be confused w/ anything "AWD", ALL Wheel Drive.) Again, I wish SOMEBODY would offer a dedicated 4x4 Van....be it multi-passenger to full-on camper....and the ABILITY to be a transformer as to Utility/End Use.

Looks awesome, love the rig. We camped Ocacroke last summer and the beach driving makes it. You should point the truck north, VT and Maine then head to 🇨🇦. Pei,Nova Scotia and Newfoundland have fantastic camping for a rig like yours. Also check out Grizzlyandbear on KZread

I had to take 2 ferries going North to South out of the outer banks, and both of them were way bigger than that one. Was this the free one or the one you have to pay for?

This is a paid ferry. It’s a family that operates it instead of the state. You have to schedule it because it doesn’t run everyday.
