Rob can't wait for some NJ and NY pizza! He researched so many places for our trips in 2020....that never happened...We had two trips to NY planned and cancelled since Covid. SO BUMMED! I was looking forward to all the GF pizza Ive been told about. Hugs!!

@@HeidiSKulesh hey neighbor :) I’ve lived in Monmouth County most of my life. I am in Howell - (15 mins west of belmar/20 mins east of Great Adventure). I’ve worked for very close family friends in their restaurant/pizzeria since I’ve been a young girl. Nothing beats NJ/NY pizza.

Food always tastes better when someone else makes it!! All the bakery goodies looked so good! I enjoy your adventures, thank you for taking me along with you and Rob. I too was concerned for that swimmer. The stacked rocks looked like they were there just for the birds. We can't wait to visit Austin.

Oh my gosh! All those amazing gluten free treats! I’m so jealous! I was diagnosed celiac about 5 months ago so I’m loving seeing all these goodies and ideas and need to go hunting for some local places that make similar things by me! Austin is now on my bucket list of places to visit! ❤️

Hi! Austin is a great place for those of us who cannot eat gluten. I hope you get to visit at some point. In case you have not already joined, there are some terrific Gluten-Free groups on Facebook.. just search them and scroll though, make sure they are well managed and ask to join. SO happy you found that bakery, so so you could enjoy. My mouth is watering, watching you. All that stuff looked really good, and that shop was nicely done, and SO clean. That Farmer's Market looked very nicely done, and LOVED the pet pig (and her name!). :) Used to love takng bus back/forth to a couple Farmer's Markets up North, but the ones down here is NOT accessible if you don't drive, and I didn't want to be enclosed n car with anybody this summer. Shame too, since I am more in the "garden part" of the Garden State now. You're right - that due WAS underwater a LONG time! Unfortunately, these days, I'd probably be dressed like yoi at 61 degrees (from somebody who everybody would ask "Where's your coat? And I'd probably have to be wearing gloves too, to keep my fingers from turning weird colors. :( I was happy just watching you at that dog park - I used to go to one up North with my friend, and we'd sit there for hours, with a coffee, and enjoy the babies. :) You forgot to put pepperoni on your pizza, but it still looked (and sounded!) fab! :) And - I LOVE long vlogs!! Living through a huge snowstorm'/Nor'Easter here. Glad I moved from up North - they're getting 1-2 FEET of snow. Here in Central NJ only getting about 6", but it's much more sleet/mess (keeping totals down) but also VERY slippery/icy! And it's a LONG storm - started snowing about 11 a.m. yesterday), not suppose end until sometime tomorrow (Tue) night! The winds have also been fearsome, and I've been worried about losing power (and heat). A LOT around me did, but I did not, thank goodness. Since mailbox and garbage receptacles are about 1/2 block away, not going to even chance it for a day or two, with my Rollator. I do have a dental appointment (yes - ANOTHER one, ANOTHER problem - I am SO aggravated!!) Friday, will have to clear stuff up before then, but supposed to warm up a bit Thu. and Fri.

When it snows here we usually get the wet slushy stuff that then becomes ice, or it starts as a heavy ice then it snows...that is the dangerous stuff! nobody can drive in it here so we stay home! I'm glad you're not getting too terribly much snow but sorry it is the icy stuff. Glad, so far, you have not lost power. I hope it continues.. Sorry about the dentist..ugh! I have to go soon, I don't want to.. I hate it.. Well, who doesn't..lol... Sending you lots of warm hugs! Travel safe to the dentist and I hope it is much warmer by then!

Hi Favor and Robert! I am so glad you bought some treats you can enjoy. Does Houston have any glute free bakeries? Barton Springs is so lovely, but I bet that water s cold!!! Hi my friend! Sadly I have only found one or two places that have treats for me but they have not been very good. The water is super cold! lol.. Every time we have been from way back in the 90's we have never made it in the water... too cold! That said we have been to Schlitterbahn in San Marcos and part of the water park uses a spring fed stream... it was well over 95 degrees and we were FREEZING! haha! And, I would have done just about anything to have a few bites of the Philly pockets! Hugs!!

Thank you! No! We have not been! Every time I find a Farmers market here it closes or it is very small and therefore only has eggs or plant vendors. I just found a couple Katy area markets but again, small and certainly no specialty bakers etc. We will be going back to the Bridgeland Farmer's market soon... hoping it has improved.
