Thank you. This is the best information I have ran across detailing the freeze sensor. I had the same situation with the sensor just dangling in the return. I went through the Furrion installation manual and combed their website and they don't even mention the freeze sensor.

New RV owner here. I've had this AC freeze up 2x in the last couple of weeks. First time I believe it was from dirty coils. This time, I'm fairly certain it was from the super cooling you mentioned (I noticed the tape was loose internally allowing air to "super cool") Thank you soooo much for the video, as I now have my AC again 🙏 (Full time RVing also)

Hey there. I have been watching your videos for the last several months and am VERY impressed with you and your presentation. While we live in Orlando, when we venture out west with our 22 Windsport 34J, we will plan a repair session at wherever we are staying. God bless and keep up the great work!

Thank you for this information and you super helpful videos. One question I have is at what level or height on the fins should my freeze sensor be placed? I have a Coleman Mach 15 AC unit. Thanks Emily!

Informative. But mine shuts down completely after 4-5 mins. It’s a dometic a/c . Filter is clean. Only been ran less then 2 hours. It’s on a fiber splice trailer. It runs solely off a 5500 inverter generator. No ducting .

Does it shut the unit off or just the compressor. Ours has been freezing up I’ve cleaned the coils last week has done good till today. Removed the filter and the sensor has not been in the coil. Thanks for your information

Question. If I have a pop up camper, and left the ac running all day while camping. about 98 degrees outside. and had no issues, but then overnight left it running as well and it froze up in the middle of the night, do you think this is an airflow problem? I left it completely on just high fan no cooling for ohhh 40 minutes, and then turned it back to cool and it started cooling again. Sorry for the question, I don't know many people that do the RV thing and just trying to learn as I go

Hey Emily, I just tested my freeze sensor on a GE AC and it’s from 4.9 warm to 12.8 cold. Doesn’t seem like much of a difference. Is it going to be bad?
