Ruzsky District. Moscow Region. Russia / armanfilm
Native nature from a bird's eye view. For my first drone flight, I chose the perfect location and was not mistaken. Moscow region. Ruzsky district.
In the suburbs there are many beautiful places. But such a spaciousness, which opens here, from these elevations, is, perhaps, nowhere else. The surrounding area is often called Russian Switzerland. And although there are no mountains here, but this peculiar hilly landscape, rivers and ponds really resembles a wavy plateau of alpine valleys. Even Karamzin noted how beautiful these places are. “The road from there to Moscow is the most pleasant for the eyes, mountainous, but what a view!”
The city has been known since the 14th century. The conditional date of the emergence of Ruza is the date of the will of Prince Ivan Kalita, where for the first time in the letter the name “Ruza” (“the village of Ruzskoye”) is found. The city dates to 1328. Initially, the city of Ruza was located on the territory of the Zvenigorod principality. In 1382 he was captured by the Tatars of Tokhtamysh. During the Great Patriotic War, from October 25, 1941 to January 17, 1942 the city was occupied by Wehrmacht forces. During the occupation and hostilities in Ruza, all outbuildings and cultural institutions were destroyed.
