Ballroom definitely suits Ruth better. And this Tango showed just how good she can be in ballroom

Never thought I'd say this about Ruth but that was one of my dances of the series so far!! Brilliant!!

Such an improvement well done Ruth score of 24 well deserved, Eamon and Jack looked so proud in the audience I'm sure Anton was too. Great work Ruth :)

There was fafing but wow best Tango so far in this series, that footwork was amazing, those spins are excellent and posture. I'm shocked how good that was, yes her elbow could improve and shoulders but she was showing the facials like so much, also great song and you can tell she has put so much effort in to making it so good, extrordinary, 8

Better in ballroom and in hold definitely. After last week's disaster of a washboard rumba, I think it's a vast improvement. Far from perfect, but heading in the right direction. 5.5

Anton delivers in Tango, it happened with Katie Derham - a Tango to Telephone by Lady Gaga, no way that's gonna work and yet. OK, things fell apart somewhat with Lesley Joseph - but I choose to believe that's because they didn't do their Tango to Like A Virgin with Lesley in a Leopard print dress, like they did in my head canon. Thematically they got the best Tango music that's happened on Strictly in a while, and Ruth was like a woman possessed in all the best possible ways. Tango of the series so far, more command and presence than Mollie and better technique than Brian, Joe and Charlotte. God I loved it.

She's getting better and the music is FANTASTIC. Gapping is terrible though, she really needed to work on that. Anton is a delight as always. 5.5/6

Sorry BBC but your title is misleading. The piece is the Allegretto section of Palladio which was composed by Karl Jenkins. Bond are the group playing the piece on this occasion.

Ruth is so cute with Anton.

Let me guess. The four who have given this the thumbs down, ........ Aston fans, right? Mature as ever!

It was definitely an improvement on the Rumba and probably her best dance so far! I think he has realised Kat struggles artistically so he got the fireworks, masks and gorgeous setting to look artistically beautiful. I guess the start was very nice. She looked like she had that look of "oh my word I'm actually doing this live" feeling. On to technique. Technically it was very good. Decent posture, nice bent frame for the Tango, great hold and wonderful musicallity. Her head was outta sync for the head movements but she did well to remember the whole routine. Her footwork was fantastic despite the stumble and lack of heal leads. It was her best dance yet! They could have give more than 6's. Technically and choreography wise it is good enough for week 4 but artistic and performance wise she still needs to push harder. Wonderful song and isn't Kat improving at the end of the day! A 7 today!

Her spotting was good, but she could've been sharper. The dance was definitely aided by the music, but Ruth is showing that she can be ruthless! 6/10

Improving steadily bless her, she tried really hard this week. However her hold did look very gappy in parts. 6.

A big improvement, didn't look like she was being dragged around.

It was definitely an improvement over last week. Her hold was excellent, her musicality was wonderful, this dance suited her. On the negative side - the were no heel leads at all, some gapping, her top line was poor and she was lacking any emotion. A 5.

With any other pro Kat would massively be improving. Lewis really is milking the wrong cow

An improvement but her head was too changeable... right/left/spin/right/left/spin... too much! Good posture and decent movement across the floor! They'll be back next week I think. The music this week helped elevate the routine and choreography imo, good choice!

Yes, her head and neck lines were the only things I had problems with. That, and the fact that I think this particular music suits the mood of the Paso Doble better. But aside from that, I thought Ruth acquitted herself very well. It's nice seeing Anton taking his job seriously again and not just using Ruth as a punchline to some painfully unfunny joke!
