After watching the LAST EVER Dexter last night & crying my eyes out, watching this made me smile. It was nice to see MCH in another character on something I like. Eased my Dexter shock se how. Well at least I was able to add this episode to 2 playlists. My "WIGS" PL & my "I love Dexter Morgan" PL ( AKA Michael C Hall & Tommy Everheart realtor). Love Michael C Hall!! Thank for having him on here WIGS! Hope he's in the rest too.

Priceless moments in film: 6:09, Erica's reaction to Ruth hiring Tommy Everheart as her broker .. HAH! Another great cinematic moment.... 0:14 - Ruth finally finds a use for those napkins that she wouldn't let Harry use in the last episode. (She wanted to wait for company) I guess Harry just gets to use those stiff brown towels she steals by the crateload from gas station bathrooms.

Might just be me but I half expected a narration in Dexter's voice going on in Michael's head during some of the scenes

Yep, I agree with you. From Ruth's somewhat condescending tone with Tom, I doubt she is intending any sort of matchmaking with her "exclusively educated" daughter. Rather, she is trying to make it look as if she is taking initiative to sell the house, but in actuality she is trying to find a realtor who she can manipulate so the house doesn't sell too quickly. He's got everything she wants in a realtor: a former stoner with slouchy socks.

I agree, that's exactly what I got from the things she said. This is very diffcult for her and she wants transitioning out if the house she and her husband have lived in for all those years to not be a fast process.

Smart lady. Choose the bumbling Realtor with no idea how to sell a big listing and you never have to move.

It sounds like Erica and Tom know each other pretty well. Probably used to hang at the same parties and smoked a few bowls together....

That Ruth is wicked! I have a lot of compassion for Erica, having to put up her constant passive aggression. Erica deals with it well, but I don't think poor Tommy quite knew what hit him!

I've been doing a little snooping around IMDB and guess what? We can expect a visit from Jan and Mel (Caitlin Gerard and Virginia Madsen) in the next episode. Hmmm..... I wonder if it will just be a little cameo like Blue did when she picked up Jan's scarf in the hotel hallway?

I think what she's doing is picking a bumbling realtor so the process will take a long time so she can appease Erica. She hires a realtor, but drags out the process so that she doesn't actually ever sell the house

Yeah, I sort of went over the whole series, and Ruth never has a kind word for her, and is always undermining her and maligning her motives. And yet, she got defensive when she thought that Tom was indicating that she might of had a drug problem. Of course, I know she loves her, but man! she is hard on her. Hard on Harry too, ordering him around all the time.... Hey wait, I think she's my mom! Amy Lippman, did you know my mother?
