Ruth Chris Steakhouse in the Harrahs Casino in Las Vegas Restaurant Review
Ruth's Chris Steakhouse inside the Harrahs Casino In Las Vegas
Address: 3475 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Hours:5:00pm-10:00 Daily
Ruth Chris is a chain steakhouse with locations all across the country. This one inside the Harrah's casino has been open for several years. Its located right next to Buddy V's Pizza Parlor and by the strip entrance closest to the Linq. Its on the second floor and you have to take the elevators to get up there. The ambiance is classy and they have wide windows with great views of the strip. We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait about 30 minutes to get seated. I saw on Opentable it costs $10 per person to reserve a seat by the window, but luckily they sat us by the window without charging us extra.
They have many Chef's features specials, a wide wine list, various appetizers, soups, salads, and of course steaks. Every steak is served on a sizzling 500 degree farenheit plate. And every meal comes with complimentary baked loaf of bread.
For our dinner tonight we ordered the Shrimp Cocktail for $25.95, Veal Osso Buco Ravioli for $25.95, 22oz Cowboy Ribeye for $86.95, Au Gratin Potatoes for $16.95, Roasted Corn for $16.95, and the Banana Cream Pie for dessert for $13.95. The total cost was $202.34 with tax and not including tip.
Overall the food was pretty good and the service was pleasant. The bread did take a while to come out and actually came out around the same time as the appetizers did. I think next time I'd skip the shrimp cocktail and au gratin potatoes because I'm not sure those were worth it.

I would not have waited thirty minutes for a table in an empty restaurant. So many better options then a chain steakhouse. Enjoyed the video, thank you.

Haha, very true! I was just playing around on my phone so the 30 minutes went by pretty quickly. And I agree there's better options especially for the price of everything here too. I plan on making videos of other steakhouses on the strip eventually. Thanks so much for watching and Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the real review of Ruth's! One day I hope to experience this.
Awesome vid! Thanks for doing this. Very helpful.
Cool video .. i really appreciate the honesty on food reviews
Best choice there is the price fix menu you can’t go wrong!!!!
great review ,the food looked great
Last time I was at Ruth's, I got a great velvet chop. Very tender.
Looks good but i would probably try it after some of the other steakhouses you visited. Thanks for all the great videos this year, hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Thanks so much Bassethound!!! I hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving as well and thanks for sticking with me this entire year!! I agree I think the other steakhouses I tried were a little bit better than this one!
Nice commentary 7:19
Thanks, great video. I love Ruth Chris steakhouses (I first went to one about 30 years ago and have visited many others since) but at the prices you have just paid, I think I'll be giving this Las Vegas one a miss...

Most steakhouses on the strip are overpriced like this unfortunately! I’m curious how the prices here compare to the Ruth Chris at other locations. You are paying a premium here for the same food and the view haha.
like how you video the menu. i love reading menus at pricey restaurants. as expensive this place is, all the sides and desert looked underwhelming. doesn't look bad but doesn't look impressive. the bread roll looked so basic and doesn't belong in this price category restaurant. i remember a good meal i had at ruth chris....think i ate there twice in my lifetime......it was satisfying but not the "oh i have to go back" type. nice job on the video!

Agreed! It all tasted decent enough but wasn’t particularly blown away by anything. You called it exactly right everything was “basic” and nothing too special about any of the dishes. Haha i try to be as thorough as possible and show everything the restaurant has to offer! I try to imagine what I want to see if I’m watching videos like this so there’s nothing left unanswered!

How do you figure that this restaurant is expensive?
Bansan, a little rich for me ! ha ha ( when you have 4 ). Nice presentation and commentary video shows me what I'm missing out on. Ha ha. But, do you think a perfectly cut and cooked steak needs to be dripping in butter to enhance the flavor ( overkill ) ? Anyway, nice work ! Happy Holidays !

Happy thanksgiving and Merry Christmas Paul! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! You are absolutely right, it was definitely overkill with all that butter!!! I should check my cholesterol levels after eating this meal, haha! I didn't even ask for all that butter and they still gave it to me! It was like I was eating butter as my main course with the steak as a side, haha!
nice steakhouse

The best is in New Orleans
Every Vegas place to eat, I can get behind that. Have you been to Esther's Kitchen?

I haven’t been yet but it’s definitely on my to do list! I have heard so many good things about that place and I love Italian food too! Chef James Trees was at the pizza festival in my video from last week and Esther’s Kitchen had a booth set up serving a pear, pine nut, and kale pizza that was very unique and delicious!

I think the price of that tomahawk steak was $161 dollars. Hope that thing taste delicious. Yours looked pretty tasty even if it was over buttered.

That better serve two people if it’s $160! I hope it’s delicious too if it’s that expensive haha. I didn’t even ask for any extra butter and they still brought me that extra plate with butter on it. It was definitely a butter overload and my arteries weren’t happy haha.
No alcohol on the tab!
For $16.95, that must be some corn.
@bansandoesvegas
Жыл бұрын
Haha, pretty pricey especially for a chain steakhouse! If I bought $17 worth of corn from Walmart I could be eating corn for days haha. Must be all jalapeños in it haha
I don’t think the cuts of meat are overpriced, but the side dishes ❓
The best Ruth’s Chris is in New Orleans. The rest are sad franchises excuse for the original
That steak looks fabulous but 34 for those cheap looking sides is out of line.
I would find the calorie count distracting and annoying. My guess is that most people who go out to a fancy steak dinner would prefer not to be reminded of the calories.

Legal requirement.
Those prices are ridiculous.
Thanks 4 video, that menu was way over priced
No way man this place now is off the list for good I mean the starters were a joke and a waste of money talk about a scam on that shrimp and ravioli😕😕😕 and what is up with those sides I mean really everything looks like it was just thrown together and tossed to you no care in anything😮💨😮💨😮💨 aside from that the steak looked good and what not but the prices are outrageous bud🙄🙄🙄 I just hate chain steak houses and yes I've eaten at outback steak house but only in Mexico and it was great but here in the States I'll pass on that one.😋😋😋 P.S. Here are some steak places you should try in Vegas "Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse" in the golden nugget😋😋😋 and "Joe's steak and stone crab" in the forum shops hopefully those two are good.😊😊😊

The food was definitely pretty basic and nothing really too special! And really pricey especially for a chain steakhouse too. I didn’t know you’ve been to Mexico! Where in Mexico did you go to and do you speak Spanish? You are a world traveler, haha. I love traveling so I might make some travel VLOGS someday haha. It’ll be Bansan Does the World haha. I will definitely be putting those steakhouses on my list to checkout. There are so many great steakhouses in Vegas haha. I was going to make a steakhouse video every week but I’ve been so busy lately it’s tough to keep up haha. Hopefully after the holidays I’ll have more time to work on these videos and eat there haha.

@@bansandoesvegas Yes I have been to Mexico my friend and I went to Cancun, Mexico City, Guadalajara, and lake Chapala so what do I think about it well it's Mexico😕😕😕 the Cancun and playa del carmen areas are good but the rest of the country I mean no way man😕😕😕 Mexico is not what it's cracked up to be and aside from that I broke my leg when I was down there over a year ago and I had to have surgery which was a disaster.🤕🤕🤕 I broke my Tibia and Fibula granted I went to the best hospital in the country but I was hauled up there for four months extra though I was staying in a double tree by Hilton hotel and had a nice suite but still it was a disaster I wish I had never gone to that country. The hotel staff took care of me very well and so did my doctor but still SIGH😒😒😒 and I'm still recovering from that injury🤕🤕🤕 anyway sorry for the rant but I wanted to share take care of yourself my friend your health is the most important thing in life.😋😋😋😋

@@admiraladama2373 wow, you have been all over Mexico! Haha I guess nothing can beat staying in a beach resort town like Cancun! I’m thinking of going to Cabo sometime too. I have a friend that owns a condo down there and goes fishing there all the time. I’m sure the rest of the country can be quite the culture shock and quite different from America but the beaches are nice haha. That’s crazy that you broke your leg down there!! I don’t think I’d ever want to go to a hospital down there. I’m not sure it’s up to the standards that we have up here haha. But I guess you didn’t have a choice since you had to have the surgery done. I’m glad that you were well taken care of though! I think Mexicans have great hospitality in general. It’s crazy that you had to stay there for 4 months though!! That would get extremely expensive if you were paying for that hotel room the entire time! It stinks that you aren’t fully healed yet!! Hopefully it recovers soon and be back to normal. You are absolutely right your health is the most important thing. I actually broke my leg several years ago in a car accident and had to have surgery on it as well. But luckily that happened in Texas so I was able to get emergency surgery done on it at a hospital in Dallas. They put it in a bunch of bolts and a plate in my leg and it’s healed up now but I still feel some soreness in my knee and don’t have the full range of motion in it anymore. But I’m lucky to be alive and walking that’s for sure. Every day is a blessing. Sorry I haven’t posted any new videos in a while! I’ve been so busy with work and preparing for Christmas that I haven’t had much time to edit any new videos! Hopefully when the new year rolls around I’ll have more time to post more!

@@bansandoesvegas You broke your leg to Jesus, yeah I have titanium in my leg now and it still hurts I'm still working out the fluid in my leg and foot it's going away but it takes time back in march I couldn't even put my shoe on my right foot but I can now but still, anyway I can walk but not like before it will probably be until next summer until things are back to normal and yes the bones are fully healed.😕😕😕 They cut me a deal on my room in Mexico at the Hilton so I didn't have to pay that much and my orthopedic was top of line he was a really good guy,😋😋😋 Mexico has state of the art equipment so don't worry about that.😊😊😊 Enough of the sad talk about our legs at least we are still both alive, anyway I miss the Video's I wish I could sponsor you and help you to produce them I have a lot of ideas to make this channel take off, but I don't live in Las Vegas well not yet anyway I want relocate there really bad Oregon has become unlivable it's just to expensive now and the weather well you know.😒😒😒
Why go to a chain restaurant when there are so many better options
Please stop moving the food from plate to side plate.
Man awsome video!! But ruth chris is waaaay overrated!!! The prices turned me completely off!! For 4 regular, basic shrimp. $26.00 man to hell with this place. No need to experience away to blow money for nothing.
Too many dress code rules. Would already pass not to have to deal with it.
