Her words are so measured, each and every one carefully weighed and considered before it is uttered. When I think of wisdom this is exactly how I envision it. I am in awe at the infinite reach and potential of a human beings capacity to be this wise.

It is wonderful to see the interviewer giving her the time to complete her thoughts. Too often they jump in and cut people off and the wisdom we could have gleaned from an introspective response is lost to the ages.

Dead as a door nail. ;-) F her. Fact check this. Then at 5 get another nuclear bomb. I suggest you send your money to Joe, you seem to admire old brain dead fools. As of September 17, 2020, the United States Senate has confirmed 216 Article III judges nominated by President Trump, including two associate justices of the Supreme Court of the United States, 53 judges for the United States courts of appeals, 159 judges for the United States district courts, and two judges for the United States Court of International Trade. There are currently 34 nominations to Article III courts awaiting Senate action, including 33 for the district courts and one for the Court of International Trade. There are currently 58 vacancies in the U.S. district courts and two vacancies in the U.S. Court of International Trade.... and hell YES, Trump will fill all those vacancies, and add many more.

Τζακυνθος Φριτοπουλος, white survivalist.... do you have no awareness of the level of ignorance it would take for one, who likely has significantly less career achievements, and significantly less social status, to attempt to make a mockery of another who significantly outshines them? Meaning, how stupid do you have to be to think you’re successfully making a joke of a Supreme Court Justice? How many intelligent people (and stupid people, but more importantly, intelligent people) spend hours listening to your wisdom? I’d assume the answer is close to “not many” based on your exhibited behavior of ignorance. Nice try tho keyboard gangsters.

When I think to complain of life, the notorious RBG would flash among my thoughts: her character, her soul as a humanitarian dedicated to the fairness of the laws, common sense eloquently stated in her dissents she became to be called the notorious RBG while on the court: equality, justice for all was her ideal driving her to greatness. A great loss for the entire country, her strength of character, empathy and sense of fairness and justice will be sorely missed, and soon the entire country will know what life is like without the "notorious RBG" on the bench. She still lives through the calls for equality; still in 2020.

I appreciated the wise words of your Mother. My Mother told me the same thing. so I would not be dependent on a man. I went to secretarial school and learned skills that I would use for many years working for lawyers, doctors, ect. Both my parents were Polish. When the Nazi's marched into Poland, Mom was 11 and her education ended. After the war, Mom worked in orphanages in Germany. She learned English. Canada wanted people with certain qualifications. Mom was a nurses' aid. She worked at a Catholic hospital. A year later, she met and married my Dad and produced my brother and me. After that, my father proceeded to move us to a very small community in the mountains. It was 10 miles out of town and Mom didn't drive. Mom was a city girl and this move made her feel trapped. She was uneducated and no possibility of changing that. Dad was a country boy and thought the move was perfect. My Mom really instilled in me the importance of an education. My Dad expected me to marry after high school and produce grand children, but not my Mom.

STAR MAN You have no idea! Do you know she was one of a few, if not the only woman, litigators that took on cases for men to receive equal rights, for men to be able to get full custody of children. This was not done in her day. She said by taking and championing fathers’ right, it showed the inequality across the board. Read a book. It’s not that ANYONE likes the idea of ABORTION...Aren’t you one of those people that less government in our lives? I am. And as a man how do you even have the right to dictate or even protest what laws affect women? I know this is a heart wrenching subject. But to devolve into rabid, disrespectful communication, and beliefs beget hateful words. If men could get pregnant and go through labor and delivery I swear, there would a law on the books immediately, for free tubal ligation, free birth control, freedom to decide what happens to her body, and would get paid family leave, which fathers should get as we. Damn dude read a book. RBG has stood for all human rights.

It is disturbing to see so many anti-Semitic comments in this thread. Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh or Muslim - it really doesn't matter how you define your invisible friend so long as you don't use it to claim a right to hurt anyone else. The interviewer is excellent - pointed and intelligent questions and time allowed to answer tem. Most of your other cable anchors should learn from her. The interviewee, in relative terms, has a brain the size of a planet compared to the commenters being the size of a pea - and before the trolls come out "Yes" I include myself as a commenter. Her view of true justice is exceptionally accurate, balanced and fair. I hope she gets to see the back of the awful occupant of the White House. He is America's most shameful moment.

The Mogwai --- Ah, they need so desperately to display their pea-sized brains. I doubt that any of the nasty people here even bothered to listen to or think about this interview. Their brains couldn't handle it, you know, all those words and ideas, the history.
