"Lost boy" is a reference to the "lost boys" of Neverland. The "lost boys" whose parents rejected them; whose parents didn't want them; and were never claimed. Lost boys are the ones who felt as if they didn't belong in reality. So they were sent to Neverland, where they could be happy/free. In my perspective, I personally portray this song as a much deeper meaning than just Peter Pan. That's truly why I love this song💙✨

Ruth, when this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and in jail. Now I have a good job, a husband, and I’m healthy. This song is so sad. The boy is lost and then finally he gives up, and takes his own life. Peter Pan is the voice, that tells him, that it's okay, and he can let go now. Neverland is where he goes and be happy after he's free from life and all the struggles.

If pain was dealt with only by suicide alot of us wouldn't be here, our parents, kids, family etc. I told my son if i committed suicide he wouldn't be here nor his bro's n sis's, he understood, told him pain is only temporary, you'll look back n be glad you didn't do so because i am. Pain is only now, healing is not to far in the future. Hope this helps, don't go to Neverland.

You guys can only save your self with a strong mind or having faith in god and by praying at night or in the morning when you wake up to god not a fake made up character.. you guys man...shake my head ..,and I went to hell and back ...was addicted to multiple drugs lost everything But i still prayed everyday and stayed strong and never give up on trying to quit now I’m 1 year sober and got everything back and more !!! Thanks to having faith in god and Buddha .and trust me my parents are from Vietnam third world country came to Canada from a boat in the world war with the USA and I was sent to foster home before because of children’s aid and a lot more other situation where I was alone without parents too...so no excuses brother stay strong because this world soo huge that millions more people are in a worse life situation then us ...,remember that and running away from reality makes it only worse you need to wake up sober up with a clear mind face reality and redeem your self ,fix your problems one by one and you’ll see that this world is very very beautiful and full of happiness hope that helps you motivate you to get your life back together brother god bless and be strong !

I was Neverland was real.. Just imagine, all the pain you feel that’s been filling your heart and soul for years can finally be uplifted. Letting go and not having to regret it, letting go of your life you had and living a new one for all eternity without no punishment and judgement, just pure happiness and relaxation for your mind and soul Imagine flying high above those clouds and looking down to see your shell you left behind just to go to a warm place that will welcome your broken soul Then, you can come back to the life you had and it’s all better because you got the rest you needed and the break your empty heart deserved I wish Neverland was a place I could rest without having tears stain my cheeks and pain filling my entire being. I'm not trying to be religious or anything but, I think Neverland is Heaven, a place where you go after death, if you are judged good. Mostly people just shrug it off and say "everyone will go to Heaven when they pass" but it isn't, you are judged on whether you have lived a life satisfying by God, so turn to him now so at least you may have a chance you know.. many people have passed in my life and i feel so bad of not letting them know about God.. and this is just my belief so no need to get offended or anything ♡

Me and my ex lost our son to our own bad decisions to cps and years later I'm staying at the last hotel we stayed at as a family and they gave me the same room I didn't ask for it. But I hate this I don't want to sit here alone. I lost my family. Super shitty feeling. I think covid- 19 is causing depression for many, because even if you’re an introvert like me, feeling alone can lead to depression. I have episodes a lot. I feel alone like I have no worth for at least an hour and then I feel fine, it’s weird. There are two types of alone.
