I used to listen to this song everyday on the way to an art camp when I was about seven years old. It was the perfect length to get from where my sibling played basketball to the camp so my mom would turn it on and it would end right when we arrived. I loved this song, but I never grasped its meaning. Now many years later I still love this song, even more so than before, but for vastly different reasons.

I first heard this song at my 1st grade talent show, around 6-7, and immediately feel in love with it, despite not knowing what it meant.I’m 13 know and I have cried to this. When I would Cry at 8-11 thinking my family would be happier if I never existed I would sing sad songs like this to comfort myself and let myself know I wasn’t alone. People who where brave enough to share their story’s with the world helped me through the worst bits of my depression and really bad thoughts. So, if your reading this, and feel useless, unwanted, unloved or not worthy of love now your not alone and you WILL get through this. Because their are people out there who care about you. Their are people who love and appreciate you. Be it extended family or friends. They care. And ALWAYS remember you are loved ❤

@@mindy_may2428 I'm sorry you had to go through all that, it must be really painful & hard for you to forget, it even happened to me, my 2 BFFs just left me and made fun of me, I was so sad, so I ended up cutting ties with them, I left them, after 2 years, they wanted to be friends with me again, that's when I knew they wanted to but they don't really mean it, and are planning to tease me and leave me again, but I didn't fall for it this time, and I ignored them. Don't worry, there are a lot of good people out there, you will eventually find a person who can change your life forever, to the better :)

I’m so tired of being locked up in my room with my sister who just hates me and sometimes loves me so I do things for her, never going downstairs without my phone, having 3 brothers and 1 of them is sick so that’s the reason I’m stuck in my room for 11 years, every night he attacks one of my family members, faking a smile every single day, I’m just a 11 yo girl and I never seen my family happy, 1st grade people bullied me for being “overweight” and “tall”. and now here I am. gonna be 7th grade and not having interests expect playing online, seeing people smile, and making peoples day and worrying about people who hurted me. +I hate seeing people cry. It just hurts my heart.. and I’m afraid to cry in school just to not get the whole attention. thank you for listening I’m sorry if I wasted your time on my story. edit: thank you all for the love and support! ❤️🥺

This song always reminds me of someone who was really close to me and every time when I listen I have this flashbacks of those precious times when we talked. He always had these never ending questions to ask... but we had to let go each other like as everything has its ending.

This song reminds me of the childhood I had. All the group home and foster kids amd high maintenance kids in lockdowns. You don't know a brotherly bond until you grew up wit no adults, no family to save you. Just us kids building packs and running together, defending each other.
