Rusty Old Axe Restoration. Restoration and customization
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video I'll show you how I restored my wife's grandfather's old axe. It was his favorite ax . I will also show you how to make an ax handle. I'll make the handle out of ash. Thanks for watching.

That axe is now one of a kind. Beautiful!
That head js definitely not going anywhere. Nice restoration and modification.
What an amazing transformation to an old, beat up axe. I have never seen you work in this way before. Your skills & understanding of the materials you work with is also amazing. You have certainly breathed breathed 'new life' back into this old worn out, beat up old axe. Well done my friend, Don from South Aust.

Taking something old that would usually be chucked away and doing this to it ... fantastic ... I love it when people do this sort of thing, like taking firewood and creating something amazing from it ... bravo 👍

Beautiful Work ! well done bro❤😊
A beauty.
Very nice customization. I like work with aluminium parts. And the shape of the handle is great 👍
Какая красота!!!
Impressive upgrade! Not a true restoration, but I always love it when someone takes something old & brings it back to life! Not many can improve upon the foundations layout from former tools, but you surely can! Well Done my brother!

Nicely done, a question.. when you attach the axe head to the handle, I see that you use this small kind of wedge with a screw that you screw into the handle. Can you tell me what that is? It looks like a better solution than a wedge what is normally being used.

Thank you. So this is an old way of attaching an ax and is better than a wedge attachment in my opinion.
Axe tekino 😬👍

Thats amazing but remember that you only push file, you are destrying file right now
It is very nicely crafted, how much to have one made like that?

You do realize that, that’s the most gangster axe ever right
Класс👍
What type of wood and steel did you use while making this?
👍👍👍

why no testing

А заточка то как у колуна
This ax may be suitable for chopping meat but not for wood.

In the art of woodworking, you are an undisputed authority. I really admire your work with wood. But the restoration was not very happy. Restoring requires a lot more detail that you didn't plan for. By the way, you built another tool.
too much!
Very nice, indeed but you could have just changed the handle, sharpened and used it.

I found an old hatchet 🪓 myself a few yrs back & had it cleaned up and new plain wood handle put on. Your's puts mine to shame....
