This type it’s easy to separate the blade from handle because of its design and axes with an eye are more sturdy

These saw blades are made of junk steel, only the welded teeth are hard.

I'm curious..and wonder if you could share in your wisdom as to what about it makes it fall short of a proper ax ? Is it the material ? the weight ? style ? all the the above ? The way he attached it to the handle maybe .? So as to avoid making same errors or avoid bad techniques

@@ijaripanju3408 The single pin fastening method along with the thin blade material makes it a nice piece of art but nonfunctional as an axe. The blade material will NOT stand up to heavy blows and is better suited for a knife used for slicing not chopping. Nice skills though. For example, old saw blades like this make great fillet knives using the same stock removal process. Oh, and NEVER use one pin to fasten a handle to anything as it allows too much movement.

And after doing some actual wood chopping since my post I have a better appreciation of what you guys said , and yes regardless he has talent for making a nice looking prop .
