    Just wanted to add that it is not mandatory to leave that camp fire lit all the time and you don't have to roast your ass every time you open that 2nd door. Still... Nice trick!

    Very thorough, great for beginners I even learned a trick or two, despite having 1600 hours in Rust I never considered using a fireplace to check for doorcampers

    Well is not like 1.6k hours is a pro already, my entire team is composed of at least 5k each and jesus cristh we all are total noobs. I have almost 7k hours (well, 6.2 but who's counting u.u) and i suck in all areas in this game except base building, excluding electricity because fuck that shit, we got a nerd who do that stuff.

    Wow this was the best 2x1 video ever for complete beginners. Great Idea and exaction. Really points out a lot of things that beginners wouldn't learn until 20-40 hours in through experiences. Love the little touches, Like visual examples of someone breaking the wooden door with flamethrower and shotgun for example. Hope it gives someone a leg up. Great work as usual.

    @@EvilWurst I learned it when I first had someone help me, he had a couple thousand hours and I had barely over a hundred, we were out collecting nodes and are a hazmat suits in the Arctic biome, and all the sudden we're at -16 losing Health quickly. He said come gather around the fire, we'll gain our health back and stay warm. Then I thought to myself if people staying around the fire means you gain health and that Comfort goes up, that means you'd be able to see if anyone's outside your door. So it was a common sense thing brought about by the teaching of people with greater knowledge and hours in the game.

    It’s because some skins don’t have what they are in their name. For example, Furious volcano doesn’t have furnace. You have to do an advanced search for furnaces, metal doors, etc. and check the little box. I found a cool furnace called soul burner today.

    Hey evil wurst, I know you normal don’t take suggestions. But I would like to see some more solo-dou builds. Especially mid and late game because it is hard to find some that work, as a solo main I can’t find very good solo bases for a cheap-ish upkeep/build cost.

    I just looked over some of My gaming Experience’s solo/duo/trio and Serenity. The up keep I would say is a duo/trio due to the high amount of hqm and metal frags. For me that would take about 45 minutes because of people shooting at me or finding the nods. Right now the best base I have found is Evil Wurst’s 2x2 extended with only needing around 1k metal frags and stone with it not being a bunker so it will be useful when bunker gets patched again.     I also learned this from the video and immediately went to test. Amazingly useful door camper detection. I have already had the chance go use this to confuse and annoy door campers.

    Cheers. It was on my roadmap anyway, to continue the success of the 2019 2x1 and the 2020 2x2. The influx of new players is just a lucky coincidence

    I started playing in 2018-ish and quickly learned about the need of good base designs. Your designs have got me through a lot of wipes. Mini fruastator 2.0 is still my favourite with few tweaks and tricks of my own. Great video tutorial for the swarm of new players.

    I’m not new to the game but I have two friends that have recently gotten into the game. I still watched the whole video and still appreciate this sort of content, what an excellent guide, I actually learned a trick to check for door campers with that campfire.
