@@rywanders yeah, it's in the ingredients. If left on paint too long it will eat your clearcoat and eventually your paint. I bought a can and was researching this stuff and luckily ran across this info. There are pics online of a guy who has damaged paint where he sprayed this stuff. Crazy! Acetone! I clean paint brushes with that stuff!

You know what you need for the rear? The low profile test wiper arm. I ordered mine from China but I'm told that you can use the wiper from an 04-09 Toyota Prius rear wiper warm

How long does this typically last, thinking about doing this for my camry’s chrome trim along the windows

Do it correctly and it will last a great while. I like it better then plasti dip

Thinking of doing a couple layers of Plastidip then one or two layers of this on top to make it glossy for my window trim. How do you think it would hold up and look?

Sounds like a fun experiment. Not sure if they will bond together. Maybe try a sample piece first. Plasti dip also sells a glossifier to spray over.

What did you end up doing? Planing on doing what you said and use a good 5 coats of plasi dip and then the glossy one for the las few layers

I seen a couple diff videos of the same rustoleum can u used, they gave bad reviews but they didnt prep and apply the spray on like u did so thats the results they got. I got a bunch of chrome trimming on my chrysler 300c luxory. I wonder how many cans i would need

@@dnthateme559 Yeah a lot of people think you can just spray this over anything and its magic... you still need to understand the concepts of spray paint. Mine is holding up okay, I di notice a bubble, but I put a pin hole in it and it went away.

Plasti dip is much better as far as apply the product. I noticed the multiple times I used this product I got alot of orange peel. I had to remove it and use plasti dip instead

This spray paint ate my clear coat i'm so upset right as soon as I removed the tape and newspaper I see my car paint bubbling around my badges wish i saw reviews first before I bought it. I'm surprised this spray paint is still on shelves its almost like it has paint stripper solvents in it since its very runny and how it reacts to the paint on a car.

Yeah. Plasti dip is a spray on rubber that peels off kinda like this, but this is much more glossy and doesn’t leave the rubber texture look.

weld for a living so you dont use carbon /steel brushes or wool on stainless cause particles will embed and rust later , im assuming same reason for paint
