Just recycle some sewing kits, rope and tarp. I ended up with 700 cloth one time after a barrel run.

Take it from someone who has actually played farm wipes... you do need dozens of blueprints for the time you put into it to be antlything close to worth it.

I built a farm on a x2 monthly server with about 20 to 50 active players. Literally everyone is buying teas and i built the farm above a cave. They havent noticed that the farm has the power from the top to the cave underneath. They mostly leave me alone since if they wipe me they lose the ability to my pure teas. Funny thing is that even is they get an offline raid message from my base people will defend my farm and give the tc back next day when i log. No one is interested in putting hours into a farm for berrys,corn and hennep so they are gratefull that i do it. Its also a max trio server and i started a month ago. I have to say i am pretty proud of all this in a month time 😊

I spent like 5 hours yesterday making a sprinkler system that turns itself on for 2 minutes every 10 minutes…

Another tip you can steal water from Outpost

I just go to a stream and get an inventory full of pumpkins and corn

Scrap teas are seriously underrated. Nobody is running roads after a while and a pure tea yields like 7 per barrel. With cars giving 8 per blue box and a mace one hitting all barrels that quickly adds up to an easy and fast tier two or even finishing off grinding to a tier three.

Farms are good but mostly for clans, since there a lot of players and instead of farming with group of 10 ppl, you can go build farm and buff all your clan for 60%, so you solo will work as 6 ppl

This is why I want rust, to be an honest farmer and make a peace area

Me and my friend build big and comfortable base usually 4 x 3 x 3 and rarely get raided just because people think it's a farm

If you're really invested you can learn how to get genetics and get a god crop

@@Kiternino its extremely efficient and basically doubles your output. At 2 Y's you get 3 clones instead of 2, and with more G's they grow faster. best is GGGYYY

I say fishing is the goat in rust for scrap. Horse farm is second easiest. Just go to fishing villa do quest and get free rod 10-20 grub which is all you need to start the process. Fish with the grub and gut the fish for raw meat and use it to get salmon and shark, viola insta scrap. Just make fishing base next to the fishing villa and add the doors under water to make raids difficult(more booms needed to blow up doors underneath). Buy diving set and you are all good for the wipe.

One wipe I had I had a fish farm and a 20 plant farm we were so rich this was pre fishing pole update

I finally got a amazing farm for my trio took me a bit to work out how to get the water to go up but figured it out

I don't even bother with pure teas, they are only marginally better than the advanced teas, yet they cost way more time and material.

Guys this is good but i am making a stone wall and gaten for my base longer so i planted my all seeds into grass and if uneed light go elektrical and make the big light there and use it on top of ur base but no forget u need turret for the outside of base for protecting the farm outside

The thing about farming, it is never going to work the way it was meant to be because you will be an easy raid target, no weapons and that is why you dont see much of this stuff in the game...

2 power not 1 for a single light.

OK, a lot of you big bass people really need to understand how amazing those farming tees are a stone. Pigv can get the same amount as a metal pick with one of those teas and the scrap tea. You will go from grabbing only about 60 scrap per run to 150It is a must

If I got rust would there be clans willing to take me in a show me how to play, don’t fancy playing solo and I would just wanna enjoy these aspects of the game

A horse poop farm is far better, just get 2-4 horse on a server that gives poop every 5-10 min and 2x2 base and no bps needed. All you need is few scraps to buy pickles from bandit or live near food spawn area like river or forest and you are all good. What’s also great is you don’t have to take care them till food is empty. A mediocre Farming requires a tier 2 with least 2400 scrap spent on electronics and glass windows etc.

It's called passive income. You could die on the road, you spent active hours farming the road. Your planters will grow while you do something else productive and you don't have to worry about dying and losing your cloth because it's in your base already.

better yet u could just get good at rust and kill people farming for ur sulfer and then raid every 1 for there loot lol

I mean it really isn't as someone who's spent considerable time doing it it's REALLY fucking annoying because The plants even with the same genetics grow at different speeds even in the same planter, same water same light and same fucking fertilizer and most of the time the fertilizer doesn't even work right and then there's the fact that about a 16th of your crop WILL NOT GROW AT ALL the list of issues goes on but those are just the biggest issues with rusts shite farming mechanics
