These cameras are so precise, they are taking the idea of “war” to a whole new level. While it’s terrific that drones can fire 25 miles away, the fact that they are actually unmanned is manna to many soldiers, and I just wish that the knowledge of the damage they CAN do would spread like wild fire among the Russians ( who we just saw three obviously badly hurt and no where to go) and make them retreat with their lives intact and return to their Motherland Russia, and refuse to fight anymore. Tell new recruits just what hell it is out there, how Putin has lied, how many Russian bodies lie in body bags in train carriages, with freezer capability, unclaimed, others blown to smitherines, and the rest hastily buried in fox holes on the side of the road. TELL THEM how deluded and Meglamainiac Putin has been, uncaring about his troops having food and water, giving them fighting equipment from ww1 ! Tanks that havnt been maintained and break down quickly with no mechanics around to repair or even know how to. How many Generals have died! And most of all Ukranians DID NOT WANT liberating, was NOT full of Neo Nazi’s…just pleasant people getting on peacefully with their lives, until Putin struck them down without provocation on his “Special operation”. Utter rubbish, and Now he wants to save face with his fellow countrymen, locking up anti war protestors, stashing huge amounts of money houses,yachts, jewels etc etc, while soldiers, young men with families are made to sign up,paid a pittance and the men face certain death or loss of limbs,eyes, you name it. Putin MUST BE STOPPED! The West is Not against Russia! They just don’t want to standby and see a peaceful country invaded the way it has been. It could have been any of our European countries….who knows what makes Putin tick. But we will help Ukranian people stop him. STOP THE WAR! Deserting the Russian army is a high crime with severe punishment. I see the interviews with the young lads that are captured and it could be my son based one age. They are confused soldiers that have no business being there based on their backgrounds but by constitutional law they are required to serve. And they were misled on what the expedition was about. I’m not defending the Russian soldiers, especially the ones that inflict casualties and pain on civilians, but having sons of the same age and even somewhat appearance, I’m Eastern European, my heart breaks for both sides. That said, I want the Ukrainian army to kick the Russians ass back to their border.

Not that having many more soldiers on the battlefield would help much. There would simply be more soldiers dying under artillery fire and in armored vehicles that provide no protection against modern weapons.

Anyone else feel that when you watch this from the perspective of the drone it has a game-like quality to it which in some way mutes the watchers response. I find it difficult to comprehend that these are humans being blown to pieces and in a way it diminishes both the horror and the empathy for loss of human life… any human life, a scene like this would normally provoke in me.

And I will add... Kremlin/Russia is run by KGB old men. Putin and his corrupt cadre of Soviet thugs all extort billions from Russian business and its people to enrich themselves. Russian Military commanders are corrupt and driven by greed and possession. They are Bolshevik elites, old Soviet communist circus clowns that see Russian men as war assets and disposable useful idiots. All soldiers are expendable cannon fodder that must fight because they are commanded to fight for the desires and ambitions of a petty tyrant. Putin is a thief who invades by choice for his own selfish glory and ambition... not in defense of Russia or for its people. Kremlin and military command are filled with barbarians and KGB butchers. Putin needs to be taken down along with his KGB Kremlin psychos who also take pleasure in causing pain and suffering. Putin channels Genghis Khan and lives in the ancient days of conquest, not modern civility and cooperation; wanting only to invade, steal and conquer the old Soviet Union back to glory and power. If that doesn't work... threaten everyone with nukes. Typical reaction/threats from a desperate and depraved bully; an aggressor who is driven by the desires to take, steal and posses at any cost and by any threat. The world has moved on. All Putin has is an aging Kremlin staff and a military run by promoted KGB assassins to combat/strategic command positions. Russia is being held hostage by dying-delusional by-gone Soviet dreamers and left-over KGB thugs who do not know how to prosecute a war, fight a battle or invade a country. They are KGB; hooligans and bullies! They are trained to create fear and cause panic in anyone that threatens the state. That's is all they know how to do. They do not know how to fight wars or finish a war they started. Bunch of clowns running the country. Henry Kissinger has just declared that in two months' time continuing the war will mean declaring it directly to Russia. When Putin declares the Donbass to be Russian territory and again raises the nuclear threat (the "existential threat") - the positions of all sides may change. Even that of the US, which may not be so keen to humiliate Russia.

Yes I agree, it's a weak attitude which is the wrong message to send. If Russia wants less humiliation, which is in fact entirely self-inflicted, then they should stop immediately. Any continuation, is further crime upon "already too much" crime. Crimes such as what they are doing, do incur punishments and humiliation, and liability on every level. Macron is trying too hard to be the perfect. model, new age, virtuous, metro, cool guy, when actually he is meant to be the leader of his nation and put the job ahead of his own 'popular image' desires.
