I love how you got a lot of old Russian stuff (or Soviet, idk which one is correct in this context) like these cameras and other objects like the Military Ushanka hat from a previous video. Pretty cool. Really hard to get old stuff like this where I come from lmao

I'm always surprised by the interest in old Russian stuff when I'm abroad 😋 Like, to me it's just "old stuff" (even though I love old stuff...) Glad you enjoyed the video, some new set ups and ideas gone into it 😌 Thank you! ❤️

I'm glad the language isn't hindering your experience too much 😌 Even though most my content is in English, I'm not getting away from the fact that I'm a Russian that speaks mostly Russian 😛 Thank you, Rocco! 💓

Well you're half way to 1k sub's now so congratulations for that 👏👏👏 With that said I hope you take what I say next as just a personal opinion & not a criticism of what you do because I've never been negative in my comments BUT 🤔 It's just about your dark background today which I find is my preference as it adds to the atmosphere & helps me focus on you rather than a busy backdrop as with your solitary reader in a storm video 🙂👌 So I do hope the artwork you have isn't your own work & if so ignore what I said as you may have 499 thinking the opposite 🤷‍♂️ All the Best & keep it up for 🕯🤩🤩🤩❣ ✌😛✌

Thank you, Mike!! 😁 Thank you for coming back and giving me all this love ❤️ I hope you'll stick around, cause I'm gonna! 😅 Thank you for telling me what you think!! It's super useful to hear what you prefer as otherwise I'd just be wandering around in the dark all by myself and the two candles from the storm video 😋 I'll probably be sticking to this backdrop because I agree completely and no offense taken, not my artwork 😏 I look forward to hearing what you think of future videos and I hope they'll continue to gravitate more towards what you prefer 💗

Thank you so much! Unfortunately, I’m not at all good at Russian dialects, but I myself am from central region of Russia so I guess I speak Central/Middle dialect 😊 I would never be able to understand Polish, and that’s sad because I want to... It’s such a pretty language, at least to my ears 🤗

I was born in 1981. When I was a child, I wanted to be an Astronomer. I loved learning about space. And as an American, I was proud of Apollo. I was proud of Voyager. I was proud of the Space Shuttle. But as a child, I would always look at a map and see a *giant* red country - the USSR. And I thought of their achievements. Sputnik. Vostok. Soyuz. Yuri Gagarin was a hero to me, too. I always wondered about life in the USSR. I saw Gorbachev on the TV. I wondered what it would be like to meet him. I wondered what Moscow was like. I didn’t see pictures of Moscow until I was much older. Only a city on a map, with a star meaning it’s a capital. I know these old things for you aren’t as interesting. But they are so, so, fascinating for the rest of us. They are things we would never, *ever* see here. They are of a different time, a different country, and a different life. Someday, I will understand this video better. Thank you for giving me some more motivation, Snarkova!

I wasn't quite born yet in 1981 but the kind of national pride regarding space aviation has definitely struck me as well, even though it happened long before my existence... But as you say, it's not really just national pride when it comes to space, it's "earth-pride". And when you speak of the giant red country to the east, I've always felt what you described but about the giant country to the west! I've never been to america yet I speak (try) the same language as you and watch your films, listen to your music and dream of your stories and legends all very much rooted to the star spangled banner. You say it doesn't interest me, but there you are wrong 😛 I'd say I have a slightly worrying amount of affection for the past times and present legends 😅 So your stories today strike a powerful chord with me. Oh, and Moscow still very much stands and awaits your visit 😌 Even though it is no longer the USSR, the amazing, warm, kind and proud people remain 🥰 Thank you for sharing, Mark! I so look forward to the next time ❤️
