Russian tank explodes hurling turret 250ft into the air after Ukrainian missile strike

SHOCKING video captures the moment a Russian tank is reportedly blown up, sending its turret hurtling 250ft into the air following a Ukrainian missile strike.
The captured dashcam footage, reportedly filmed in eastern Ukraine, shows Putin's war machine exploding in an enormous fireball as it drives along a road.
In the clip filmed from a car driving behind the tank, a huge blast erupts shortly up the road, and what appears to be a tank turret goes flying into the sky.
A number of figures, possibly Russian soldiers, are seen desperately scrambling for cover.
It was filmed by the Chinese state media channel Phoenix TV, which shared a clip of its journalist's close encounter with the inferno on its KZread channel.
The video was taken while the Chinese team were on their way to the Azovstal steel plant in the besieged city of Mariupol, where they were covering the evacuation of civilians.
t was reportedly taken last week, although not much else is known about the type of tank and casualty numbers or the type of weapon which destroyed it.
Explaining the context behind the incredible video, the channel said: "Phoenix reporter Lu Yuguang escaped death during the interview in eastern Ukraine," adding that the driver needed "emergency deceleration to avoid danger".
It went on: "Phoenix Satellite TV dispatched a front-line interview team from eastern Ukraine to go to the Mariupol Azov Steel Plant on May 6 to track and report the evacuation of civilians by the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Russian military organisation."
The report said that while "on the way to the interview," suddenly a Russian tank driving in front of them blew up in "a huge explosion".

Belogorovka still russian, even if there was some fights. And Popasnya 100% russian, and both ukranians and russians say its russian...

An awesome straight ascend combined with several twists and somersaults, garnished with an extraordinary VoFB-value (Volume of Fire Ball) attest a sophisticated performance. Slight deductions for the reentry phase because the turret did not land on the tank again.

With combined arms you have surveillance aircraft/drones, fast jets to neutralise targets before the tanks with supporting infantry even get close to those MANPATS. Attack helis in close support, highly mobile infantry screens, ECM etc... Lets hope the Russians continue with the strategy that is "all going to plan" apparently lol

No matter how much someone supports Ukraine and denies the truth. He knows by heart that Ukraine has lost the Industrial part of the country, like Donbas where there were SOO Many ammunition depots, Factories, weapons manufacturing etc. In 2015 alone, 20 Giant ammunition companies were lost, now imagine about how much more are lost NOW. Which is way Ukraine has run out of ammunition and weapons and fully (100%) relies on foreign aid to keep the war going. Many people fear that Ukraine would have been fully occupied if the west didn't give anything. At the start of the war, there was bad communication between battalions and groups of the Russian army, which is why Small groups of Ukraine army ambushed the Stuck road full of vehicles and fired javelins, but now is something different, they have orginized themselves, good communication and supplies are coming easily. Wagers have come once again after taking luhansk. Russia has fire control on my important roads, addivvka will be captured soon because the supply has been cut off, soledar is being taken block by block, seversk's nearby hills have reached the range of the Russian army, and Finally, as this video is mentioning, This important PowerPlant has been taken, it was a fortified position, now there are only plain fields and barely any urban settlements to reach Bakhmut which is 7 km away. First line of defence has basically starting to collapse and the second line of defence is being fortified really fast by the Ukrainians. You should help Ukraine and support it instead of acting like its winning the war. 🇺🇦

Its because of the autoloader. In normal tanks like abrams the ammo is separated from the crew, and in case of detonation it gets vented away. In russian tanks (because russians/soviets never cared about the value of human life) the ammo sits right there with the crew. If the VERY heavy turret flies that high into the air you can imagine what happens to the crew

Rossiya not Russia, Ukraine is the real Rusia (one s), Rossiyans not Russians, Rossiya is the actual modern adopted name of the Grand Duchy of Muscovy, not Russia. Rossiya attacked the Rus’ state of Ukraine. It’s a Rosso-Rus’ Ukrainian war, war between the formerly northern Rus’ (Muscovy) self proclaimed as Rossiya and the southern Rus (Kievan Rus), known these days as Ukraine. Rossiya actually stole it’s name, people must know that Ukraine is really Rusia and has always been Rusia until the 18th century, and “Russia” as we know it today, is and always was Muscovy, until they greekefied and stole the name of what is now called Ukraine. So Muscovy (self proclaimed as Rossiya) 🇷🇺 is attacking the real Rusia 🇺🇦 , foremost heir tho the legacy of the Kievan Rus. Name “Russia” (Rossiya) came into use in the 15th century but until the 18th century it was used to refer to what is now Ukraine, by the Byzantines and Helines(Greeks). But then the name was stolen by Muscovy. All in order to be eligible to claim the land of modern day Ukraine. Rus’, Rus’ land, Rusia, all trough out history was a name that referred to what is now Ukraine. If you care for Ukraine, in further comments please make a point to spell “Russia” properly, as Rossiya, or better yet refer to them as Muscovy and just put Rossiya in brackets. The really interesting thing here is where this tank was blown up: according to Stefan Korshak of the Kyiv Post this spot has been geolocated to almost 100 kilometres inside the Russian occupied Donbas, and the Chinese TV crew who filmed it reported that their driver told them that they had to drive fast because there were known to be snipers along the road. So Ukrainian partisans are active deep inside the Donbas region.
