Greetings from Spokane, Washington State (oblast) in the USA! We have many Russian and Ukrainian immigrants here and I work as a teacher. These are the best students! It never ceases to amaze me how similar people are around the world and Russia is no different. We have too many misunderstandings about each other. Your videos help to break down this. Peace to you and please keep them coming! Большое спасибо друг ! Will Olson

I would like to binge watch this, but i have allot of work to do. That said, it is a great thing the episodes seem to be about 15 minutes each so far. Seeing different places around the world with a grand tour by a native with the accent as a bonus. *thumbs up*
Appreciate your efforts in showing people about your country. Russia is one of my favourite countries. Would definitely visit once.
Do you have any idea how wonderful you are? Every simple thing, a parking place, a bath house, a garden, your Mom, (not so simple) a bag of potatoes you so deeply appreciate. I love you guys. Don't change anything about your style. What you love is what we come to love!
your a different point of view on Russia that we don't see enough of, no wrecks no fighting just normal human behavior.

in Russia 1$ of liters, in USA 3$ of gallon, 1 gallon = 3.7 liters, cheaper fuel in the United States, despite the fact that in Russia a lot of oil, and salaries are several times smaller. so that for the Russian fuel is very expensive.

your videos are awesome. In 2005, I went backpacking in Ufa, I was in Russia 1st time and became lost 2 days. I walked by many rivers and saw a old steam boat with a paddle wheel! I was greeted by a woman who owned a (sanatory) rest place. We went in steam room, fished, swam and I saw many sunflower fields. I will never forget that time

In Russia, most people earn $ 600-700 per month. In Moscow 1000-1500 per month. For Russia expensive petrol.

I love the concept of a dacha. God thanks I have been already 5 times in Russia, my first time in winter 84 and my last trip was on august last year visiting Siberia frm Mongolia to Moscow........Excelent Real Russia Best regards from Argentina
My 3rd comment finally... First of all, your mom is beautiful. I can sense her warm personality from here when I watched this video. Reminded me of my mom. Hehehehehe... She must be really proud of you. Russian summer house actually is similar with cottage in my country. You can rent it or you can buy it for private. It always located in far village or small village outside the city. Another similar problem is... petrol. Hahahahaha.. such an irony when your country contributes petrol supply for the whole world but the price of petrol in your own country is expensive. I think that is the most basic developing country's problem. Well, this episode is also nicely done!

caitlinrobson533 In America we sell it by the gallon. 1 liter is about .25 gallons, so you'd basically have to pay about 4 dollars for a gallon. Thats pretty expensive because right now gas is about 2.30/gallon.

John Smith I have been to Russia. They are not as bad as we are told in USA. Pretty nice people I would say. Just stay away from ghetto areas and dont start fights. But I think that is universal advise for travelling anywhere.
Pra quem gosta da Rússia esses episódios são viciantes, depois de assistir o ep. 1, é difícil conseguir parar.
Enjoyed your video of your summer house and land. Can't wait until you come back next year when all is in full bloom, and maybe we can see inside the house and bath house.

Hi from Moscow, guys! I am Russian. You are doing a good work! The only thing I will recomend - is to show on the map the biggest russian cities, because people in other countries rarely know other cities except Moscow. I doubt they imagine where is Ufa situated. In this episode you made a mistake when described summer house, you told - "we grow apples, PINEAPPLES". There are no places in our country where we can grow pineapples. Anyway, nice to see your videos, good luck!

Do you own the summer house and the ground surrounding it or do you rent it? My family had a family plot of land where we grew vegetables and had a small hut in which we could sit and have tea,(we rented it from the council) however this was in the 1950s in Scotland and now there is nothing like that anymore as all the land is being used up to build houses. I loved going to the plot as we had a great time there. All is gone now, so sad.
@volgalas6070
10 жыл бұрын
The owner is likely. All plots were given free to our parents in the USSR, now only need to pay Gardener's Association. If the holder wants, dacha can be privatized. ".. now there is nothing like that anymore ..." - why? It's possible also buy a plot, build a house, lay out a garden and call the whole family for tea.)
