Russian (SHTURM) Individual Combat Ration (2024 exp)
Hi everyone. Today I will be trying a Russian SHTURM/Individual combat ration. These are 8 hour rations and contain a nice range of items. I've had an older version some time ago and thought I would try a new menu. In this video I will go through what is in this ration, taste test it and give you my overall opinion. This is one of many rations I have tried (see Ration review playlist) and there are lots more coming up in the future,

👏👏👏thank you for a colorful review, russian mre brings mix of old fashioned, quirky foods, natural, little to processed techniques, but original taste of food, which is quite rare this days. I like your impression of apple jelly - yeah, it's a thing of its own. Странные ощущения, человек есть паек на другом конце света, а я радуюсь за него, потому что ему так же вкусно, как и было мне.

Thanks very much. I’ve tried a few MREs from Russia and I always enjoy them. It’s nice to try something a little different. Yes I agree the food doesn’t taste processed, unlike some other MREs. I tried this one and didn't like it much, the apple jam is good like you say but there are heaps of other rations i'd prefer before this one, Thanks for the review!

The shelf life of one year for MRE package is quite short.

Yes it’s not the longest date, but I’m sure it will still be fine to eat a year after the BBD. 😊🇷🇺
