    Pretty dark, but I get the sentiment. In reality, the Ukrainians have to deal with these Russian corpses, and do so respectfully, identifying them and either burying them or returning their bodies to Russia (not sure how that works). not a job I’d want to do.

    Little prince once landed in rural Russia. He met a local man, the conversation went like this "Why are you drinking?" "Because I am Russian." "Yes, but why do Russians drink?" "To forget." "Forget about what?" "About being ashamed." "Ashamed about what?" "About being Russian." (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry messed it up a little bit in his book not to seem rusophobic)

    No blame on US/NATO expanding? Really USA Would be ok with Canada being progressively armed? Also may we mention US President George W Bush launching an aggressive war against Iraq in 2003?

  • @SkaldCG

    @SkaldCG

    Жыл бұрын

    @@sbuckle1171 "...Canada would be progressively armed, after USA infiltrated their country and clearly said, it was no real country but actually part of the USA". Then yes, it would be apropriate to arm Canada. (Ukraine has only been armed after they were attacked by Russia, that's also when "Azov battalion" was created by locals, as a guerilla force and as an answer to Russia) And don't forget they were misled by the West to be able to join NATO. So for Ukraine it would have been mouch better if they were allowed to join NATO, but of course Ukraine back then was different than today, much more under Russian influence politically. Putin's wars have always started to secure the Russian regime and his own position. The mafia state. It is because the Russian state in general was running out of money and the Russian sentiment slowly turned against mafia boss Putin in the last years. He needed sth. to keep the normal Russian busy and to hate on, so he created the legend of a nazi Ukraine to unite his sheep against them and invent stories from Eastern Ukraine to make them kill their neighbours and think they are gloriously killing Nazis, which of course was mainly a stupid fantasy. Most stuff that happened in Ukraine and was done by the so called "nazis" was done by the black helmets, former Russian troopers. Like attacking LGBTQ-parades, attacking Eastern Ukrainians that were pro-Ukraine on Maidan protests and making them leave Ukraine etc. When they occupied Ukrainian land they immediately started deportation of Ukrainians to change the population with "Russians". That's how Putin created puppet states or annexed regions that are "pro Russian".

    It's going to be hard when serious cold-winter temperature arrives. Alcohol is not only dangerous to your performance but it also reduces awareness of cold-weather injury. I wouldn't be surprised if a large number of the surviving recruits return with severe body part loss due to frostbite. Even without the alcohol, the lack of proper clothing will also contribute to this.

    Explosives wouldn't have been installed when constructing the Pipelines because to clean the Pipeline they send a 1-meter rubber/plastic ball down the pipe line which is forced through by the pressure of the gas and can be stopped at any point. More than one can be sent at intervals and stopped at a precise point by turning the pressure off. They could modify these Balls which are known as "PIGS" by core drilling into the PIG and filling them with explosives. No Drivers are needed or explosives installed during constrution. These PIGS are used to clean the 1.06m pipe line on a regular basis. They are inserted into the pipe line at the refinery (start) and taken out at the end of the pipe line thus cleaning the pipe

    In "The Gulag Archipelago", Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn tells the story of a train that leaves Moscow with enough leather to make 10,000 pairs of boots that are to be made by prisoners in the gulags of Far Eastern USSR. The leather travels along the Trans-Siberian Railway, the longest continuous rail line in the world. However, at each stop the cargo is inspected and the manifest is signed off attesting to leather to make 10,000 pairs of boots. But, each apparatchik must have his "beak" sweetened, so a bit of leather is "confiscated." By the time the train reaches the gulag, the manifest says 10,000, but there is only enough leather in the rail cars for 7,500 pairs of boots. The inmates make 7,500 pairs, but only 5,000 get loaded into the rail cars by the time the railroad people and the prison commandants get their "beaks sweetened." At each return stop, the cargo is inspected and the apparatchik's "beaks" are sweetened. When the train returns to Moscow, the manifest says that 10,000 pairs of boots are on board and accounted for. But only 2,500 pairs of boots are in the rail cars. Since no one wants to be blamed for stealing 7,500 pairs of boots, the manifest is stamped "All accounted for" as 2,500 pairs of boots are put into the warehouse. That is how you "lose" 1,500,000 military uniforms in Russia. хай живе Україна! Niech zyje Polska!

    I remember reading a post from an engineer weeks ago that claimed Russia might have difficulty closing the pipeline safely without the international expertise about the systems, apparantly it's not the type of thing that can be easily switched off at one end without the pressures being managed at both ends. If this was Russia, one possible motive may be to ensure that they can sever Europe without causing a disaster in their own infrastructure, without having to consult anyone.
