Russia’s President Vladimir Putin landed on Thursday in Beijing for a two-day state visit to China. The Kremlin said this will be Putin’s first foreign trip since he was sworn in as president and began his fifth term in office.

She is a senior high level ranking woman in the CCP and Chinese Govt. If not mistaken, she is the highest ranking woman in CCP. You can see that during the official welcoming and greeting ceremony by Xi, she stands at number 6 (ahead of Commerce Minister) and among the top CCP members to greet and welcome Putin. In seniority rank, she seems to be higher than the Commerce Minister.

The visit have strategic significance amid turbulence and profound changes around the world. President Xi and President Putin will exchange views on bilateral relations, cooperation in various fields, and international and regional issues of common concern. China-Russia relations can be promoted to a new height, as strategic ties between the two major powers will greatly affect the international arena. The two countries are expected to promote cooperation in many fields, including energy, aerospace, chemical engineering, education, transportation, infrastructure construction, agriculture and media, as the two countries are greatly interdependent and complementary. China and Russia could deepen cooperation in finance and banking, as well as in sci-tech and investment. The comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation will set new directions for further development of cooperation between Russia and China. China and Russia are both major powers and permanent members of the UN Security Council, and they share a consensus to promote a multipolar world order. In many international issues, the two countries will strengthen their coordination to jointly safeguard world peace and justice among the international community.
