Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

These dangerous talking heads deliberately ignore 2 facts. 1. US has nuclear weapons in 5 NON nuclear countries. 2. Russia has a very firm policy of NO nuclear first strikes except in the case when the direct safety of State itself is threatened. NB: This is simply a continuation of historic warmongering, as despite fear mongering warnings to the contrary, Soviets had the same policy, Russians will NOT be the first to use nuclear weapons.

After WW1 Germany lost 17% of it's territory. After the Soviet union feel apart Russia became 24% smaller than the Soviet union. 10-15 year after both got a new leader who wanted to regain pride and glory and lost territory, they loved propaganda and they both bragged about there "wunderwaffe" and they both liked "blitzkrieg" . One took whole Europe and some of Russia but luckily died in a bunker in Berlin, the other one got stuck in Bakhmut and became a Chinese puppet.

Speed does not matter. Bakhmut is a deathtrap for UA soldiers. To eliminate the UA army is the goal of the SMO. Not to take territory. A horrific amount of Ukrainian soldiers died there, so many that the spring offensive will not happen because of the lack of soldiers and gear. While Russians taking the time and loosing a minimal amount of manpower while advancing slowly but surely. Bakhmut is done for, clear as day. Villages behind Bakhmut are being evacuated since yesterday morning.

The most powerful governments on earth are no match for our Creator. To him they “are like a drop from a bucket and as the film of dust on the scales”. (Isaiah 40:15) Different countries are so busy squabbling among themselves they don’t realize that their biggest threat is from above. Our Creator has a purpose for us and for our beautiful earth and he won’t let puny humans destroy our planet and all life on it. Human governments are as helpless as an ant on a railway track trying to stop a high-speed freight train when it comes to trying to stop God fulfilling his purpose. Very shortly they will all be removed and replaced by God’s righteous Kingdom government. (Daniel 2:44) It will bring true peace and security to the earth and will undo all the harm done by ungodly humans. It will bring untold blessings to those who want to live in peace and harmony with others and all living creatures. Psalm 37:10, 11, 29 says: “Just a little while longer and the wicked will be no more; you will look at where they were, and they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth, and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace”.

Such a generic question can't realistically be answered without context. In the case of the U.S. invading Iraq based on false intelligence about WMD, our occupation could arguably be considered terrorist, although the government's long term intent was more benign. In the case of Russia invading Ukraine, Russia's history of warring with neighboring countries goes back centuries, and each side can pick a starting point and points of emphasis to create a favorable narrative. But if we look at 40+ million people in an area that has over time been both independent of and part of Russia and now have united against Russia, it seems clear which side is right. his sense of who's right has been strengthened by both the level of atrocities Russia has committed and the words spoken by many of Russia's leaders.

I don't think think it's to prevent invasion of Belarus as no one's going to invade it, but it may be to further tighten grip on Belarus. It might cause unrest as Belarus voted to give up nukes back when Ukraine did. Belarus still has a quite active partisan group which is pro Ukraine, part of reason Lukashenko doesn't commit troops. Also, committing troops would likely cause him to be overthrown. They don't want to fight. But unrest due to nukes in Belarus might give Russia "reason" to come in to "save" Belarus, and annex it or just take entirely. The other reason Putin wants nukes in Belarus is he copies everything US or NATO does to "prove" his power and importance, esp domestically. US has nuclear stations in other countries, why shouldn't Russia, is what Putin said. Not first time he's done the like. Russian citizens interviewed over this agreed with Putin's decision, said good to "stick it to NATO," to show how "powerful Russia is too." That not only NATO is important one. Putin needs domestic support as can't show battlefield wins.

Massive armor and infantry losses at Vulhedar with almost no Ukrainian casualties. This is after the big mobilization. Ukrainian offensive hangs over their heads, like the sword of Damocles. I'm sure he is staying far from windows since he didn't agree to give them drones now that the Iranian ones are starting to run out. But let's not forget that Xi has more sophisticated technology he could get to Moscow in seconds before Putin can launch a soviet era nuke.

I agree that Putin would not be helped if he were to use nukes, and that he realizes this. I do worry about his sanity when he finally must admit to himself that he's lost. I hope that the professionalism of those in charge of the nukes, in that case, prevails.

Russia's doubling down out of prestige, but Ukraine is likely holding doggedly to attrition Russian forces; they've previously not been too hesitant to withdraw when tactically necessary, or trade territory for time. I think it's more likely that they see a risk that Russia will take an "operational pause" if they take it, denying Ukraine the ability to attrition Russian forces at the same ratio. If the Russians stopped, Ukraine would be forced to attack to keep the pressure on them, which would be more costly for Ukraine.

This has been Ukraine's tactic all along. To simply force russia to attack, and sustain withering losses. 7 russians die for every one Ukrainian....

Part of the Ukrainian logic of the stand at Bakhmut is "if not here then somewhere else". I would say that the Russians have more choice of where they attack than the Ukrainians have of where they defend. Ukrainian offensive is different, that they get to choose.

Agreed, Should Russia take the city, they would most likely take a tactical pause, consolidate and milk the "win" for all it is worth internally. Normally, a 3 to 1 loss ratio is to be expected on the invading side, however, some sources indicates that for Russia it is more like 7 to 1. While any loss of troops is unfortunate, Kiev may simply see it as "worth it" to trade 1 fighter for 7 Russians, while making sure that they are unable to make significant moves anywhere else along the frontline. Also, every day that passes, Ukraine is training more and more fighters, being equipped with more and better western made equipment.

@@AmukaAkuma I don't think 3:1 loss ratio is accurate. It is often the defender who takes the heavier casualties. 3:1 is the initial advantage needed to complete a successful attack. The ability to overwhelm at the schwerpunkt is designed to maximise defender casualties and reduce the attackers. Which makes the Russian losses even worse. The post WW1 lessons have not been learnt. The Americans would never attack if they felt their losses would be three time the enemies. The Ukrainians have little choice at times: defend at Bakhmut or somewhere else. If the ground is good for defence then stay and fight. Strategic value is less important.

@@dpelpal Ukraine gets hated more and more by the day for their lies and being a proxy war for the US. While Russia is loved by people with a brain in the EU and the US, by China and India. That is like 3 billion people right there. Also south America, the middle east, central and south Africa. How many billions who love Russia are we talking now? Actually it is the Ukraine that is being hated by the world. Ukraine is hated. And as said, it gets worse by the day. Ukraine is only being "loved" by a small group of warmongers that actually completely destroyed Ukraine and sent their men and their youth to their deaths, while 15 million of children and women fled the country, ironically, a lot of them fled to Russia. When looking from that point - pretty much no one likes Ukraine. "Beloved by the world" Ahaha, what a dreamer.
