Russia is fighting like it's still the 60's.

The azov brigade must have really stockpiled weapons and ammunition to keep holding out as long as they have. There politics aside, they have diverted a lot of Russian military resources, that otherwise would have been used elsewhere In Ukraine. The battle of Mariupol is like a WW2 eastern front battle, in the year 2022. No mercy.

May not be able to get to it. Russia abandons a lot of equipment but can come back to fix it. Better to destroy it. Ukraine has recovered lots of useable Russian tanks and equipment.

Many of them are surrendering, out of the 15.000 defenders of Mariupol there are 3.000 left and they have barricaded themselves in a factory while some others hide in appartment complexes. Most of the defenders are not even from the regular Ukrainian army but rather from the Azov battalion

When I was 10, news like these were very exciting. It was like watching American action movies. Now I’m a grown up...

Looks like a mortar round landed on that truck and there are after pictures which confirm, that not just the targeted truck was destroyed by the subsequent fire and ammo explosions but the one parking nearby too. BTW I just uploaded a much dramatic video about a close encounter with a T-72.

I'm pretty sure it's an RPG or anti-tank missile. Enters from the left, leaving a dust cloud along the ground, then strikes the vehicle. You can see the missile remnant impact the hill to the right of the truck afterwards. All in about two frames of video. But something seems off with this video, as no one is around. Azov, the defenders of Mariupol (yes I know they are just a regiment in the National Guard and there are more units ex. militias, SOF, regular ukrainian forces), when they will win the war, their popularity will skyrocket... I remember back in the days when BBC made videos with them, all of the snowflakes in the comments would call them right wing wannabees, with no proper training... haha, they were trained by the NATO, US and other former and actual Commonwealth Nations... they showed that they are fierce warriors.

Almost 50 days of war and Russia still does not control the skies, still fighting a standing army, when it should be in the insurgency period weeks ago. A win for russia at this point are tidbits of land in the donetsk. Which for the price it paid, is a complete catastrophe for them

In eastern Ukraine there was the most combat-ready army - up to 150,000 people. Russia was supposed to clean it up in a couple of weeks? With those taking refuge in the cities? Well, then you're not a smart man at all. To fight like you used to see in Mosul or Raqqa...You need carpet bombing! They don't use them because a lot of civilians will die - a lot! So what is the point of this war then? Russia originally entered Ukraine with its hands tied! Fighting as they can. And the fact that the West supplies Weapons will be mirrored, if Russian planes go down, then Western planes will go down too. For 30 years, Russia has not interfered in Western wars with their adversaries... No MANPADS, no anti-tank weapons... I think things will be different now... Now your silly head understand-why the U.S. fled in a hurry, from Afghanistan?))

The Donetsk region was the goal all along. Bringing the west into financial, leadership and energy turmoil / crisis was just icing on the cake. The scary part is that he still needs to close off the other invasion routes into Russia before his collapsing demographics make this impossible. He has Crimea, Donetsk and still needs Poland, Finland and the Hungarian plains.

Only Russian soldiers die and only Russian tanks are destroyed in this strange war. The propaganda will never show you 2000 destroyed Ukrainian tanks and armoured vehicles. Ukraine has lost almost all heavy equipment and is now dependent on the deliveries from the west.

Crazy how Azov hold Mariupol till this day. Regard of their ideology issues, those people are true fighters. Fight on Ukriane.🇺🇦🇺🇦

Can somebody tell me why we keep seeing clips of attacks on abandoned vehicles using expensive weapons? From what I understand, the Ukraine military is in need of help from NATO. Is this money being well spent if the are just hitting random vehicles parked up around the country?

As with anything else, one needs practice in order to improve. By using Russian vehicles as targets, they not only get the practice they need, but deprive the Russians of the use of those vehicles.

Yes, you either destroy or capture equipment. What happened here looks to be a motor round or planted explosives not a rocket. Also a rocket is like 40 grand a tank or vehicle is millions
