This is the type of misplaced priorities that dogged Africa. Why would a country like Niger need air defense? Who is attacking Niger with missiles? Not france, USA, EU, China, OAU, ECOWAS, etc. The air defense will insulate the military further into demi-gods. They can stay in power forever. Mali has just shown us how to lay the groundworks for this path
