Furst devide both parts by x^6. Then +/- 1 on the left part represent in imaginary digits form 1= exp (Pi×2n), -1=exp (Pi×(2n+1)). And then easy to solve.

А в чем проблема избавиться от степеней? Если правильно извлечь корень шестой степени , получим равенство модулей |х|=|х-5|, решается в одно действие

Проще извлечь корень шестой степени и рассмотреть равенству дух модулей и на трёх интервалах сразу определится корень х равен два с половиной тем более что детям нравится работать методом инт ервалов конечно если только в действительных числах решать
