I have been a lifelong Conservative voter, but since Johnson and then Truss and now very disappointed by Sunak, I will not vote for them at the next election. I never signed up to send our weapons and money to Ukraine. Also to have learnt that Johnson went to Turkey on behalf of Biden and Co. to dissuade Zelensky to sign the peace accord in 2022 is a disgrace and he is personally responsible for many hundreds of thousands of dead Ukrainian young men. My parents, who were diehard Conservatives, would have detested this lot.

NATO expanded by 12 or 14 countries right up to Ukraine which is on Russia's doorstep. Thus making this an 'existential' issue for Russia as Mearschiemer would say.

Ну так правильно... легче всего бомбить с самолётов каких-нибудь полудиких радикалов в вонючих лохмотьях в пустыне среди овец и верблюдов, а потом на все голоса орать что-то там про самую сильную армию NATO. Сдулось NATO, остался только фантик. Вон - Израиль бобмит гражданских в Палестине, столько маленьких детей погибло - и всем похер. И всё потому что США крышует Израиль и нет дела до гражданских, особенно если это не сулит профит!

It really isnt in any retreat you cant really carry that much heavy equipment and stay safe at the same time. Just look at the amount of gear Russia left behind when they had to retreat in the Charkiv area in the beginning of the war.
