Russia's supreme court rejects appeal by jailed Kremlin critic Kara-Murza | DW News

Russia's supreme court has rejected an appeal by a Kremlin critic against a 25-year prison term. Vladimir Kara-Murza was convicted on treason and other charges that critics say were politically motivated. After the death of Alexei Navalny, Kara-Murza has become Russia's most significant opposition figure.

I admire the fact that men like Mearsheimer and Ritter can speak out opposing views in America. Russia should be more confident in its people, but maybe it has reason not to be.

Snowden and Assange are still alive and in good health? Aren’t they? I mean, they don’t look like as they are going to starve to death like Kara-Murza?! American prisons are survivable as long as you stay away from the inmates but in Russian gulags you also have to deal with the violent guards!
