Russia has promised a military response - Should NATO be worried? | DW News

The United States will begin stationing long-range missiles in Germany from 2026. Washington and Berlin say the deployment cements their commitment to NATO and European defense. The agreement includes Tomahawk, SM-6, and hypersonic missiles.
The weapons are nuclear-capable and have a range of more than two thousand kilometers. They were banned under a treaty with Russia until the US withdrew from that treaty five years ago.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz welcomed the decision.

They should boot Hungary out from Nato since they've not acting as an alliance with the rest of them, what's even the purpose of having them in Nato it's only gonna costs everyone else when they need help and they're unwilling to do a single thing for a country in Ukraine which clearly needs our full attention;I hope if Trump becomes president he strengthens Nato and just has a vote with the others to detach Hungary from the alliance and begin membership for Ukraine instead 🙏🙏🙏

Perhaps you should learn a little about european politics? Germany actually have a president, his name is Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and he's in his second term. Olaf Scholtz is the german chancellor which is not the same as the president. But it is no surprise you mix it up, Medvedev used to be puppet president of muscovia, but we all know who the puppetmaster was. The same little gremlin that changed the constitution of muscovia to stay in power indefinitely, making a mockery of what little political freedom people there had after the fall of communism.

The Soviet Union and Britain together invaded Iran which was siding with the Axis just to facilitate the transport and the Iranian oil for the Soviet army. Later when the USA joined in directly and the Brits had broken the German naval chokehold the two allies set up the North Atlantic convoy system to supply ever more kit, 15000 trucks alone and millions of tons of food. Later when the US and Britain where bombing basically the whole European continent they would even send Bombers back and forth to Russia so that they could bomb the German army even on the east in Poland and Belarus both ways

when ever the threat of war between NATO and Russia is mentioned in the Media, I wish they would at the very least do a comparison of the total combined air-force numbers of NATO jets stationed in and around the EU. vs Russian numbers of Aircraft's estimated they have left after 2½ years of wars attrition. That would put a dampener on anything conventional Russia could do to NATO except nuclear war...
